For $10 per controller, you shouldn't be expecting too much from these and that's okay. They've worked well enough for me while playing through Little Big Planet with my wife, and also work well as controllers for turn-based RPGs, or navigating DVD menus. Certainly not my favorite PS style controller I've tried and not as good as PS original hardware. These are built pretty well and work well for the most part. I haven't had problems with them outside some annoyances with the D-Pad having false diagonal inputs. Battery life on them is adequate and I tend to charge them overnight which seems to be enough. I think these are strangely marketed as PS3 controllers because they don't have that PS4 touchpad thing. So if that's something you need obviously these won't work there. ... show more

Update: The seller contacted me almost every day and offered replacement product to correct the issue. I turned down the offer but thumbs up for the customer service. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I ordered two controllers set for PS3 to replace original controllers. Since we have other consoles like PS4 and Nintendo Switch, we don’t use PS3 often but there are some good multiplayer games that I still play with others. This set looks very similar to the official controller, and it does work well, at least one of them. The second one cannot charge fully and drains the battery quickly. I connected to charge it for 3 days and it is still trying to charge. The other one works fine, so I must have defected one. This controller has auto turnoff feature if you leave it on for 5 minutes without pressing any key. This is a useful feature to save the battery but sometimes works against you like when watching a movie. The center "PS" button does not response on a regular press, you will have to press it firmly and hold it for 3-4 seconds to activate the controller. And don’t forget to connect the USB cable to sync the PS3 Console with the controller initially. ... show more

The controllers both work just as good as they are beautiful. The responsive in all of the PS3 and PC games that I have played with them. Plus they have really good batteries, i will go through entire 8 plus hour gaming sessions and not have to worry about where my power cord is. The controllers are a little light weight, and feel cheap, so because mine were free to review, i dropped my controllers from a few different heights to see if the shell would break or if the controller would malfunction in and way, and both controllers feel and game just like they did when i first got them in. The joy sticks have a nice little amount of resistance to them, which I love, I hate loose joy sticks. The sticks are perfect. My one and only complaint is that what ever they used to create or dip the beautiful decals in is too smooth, like if you squeeze too hard you can get one of these to slip from your grip.     • Easy to connect and works perfectly!
Super happy with these! We wanted 2 controllers so that I could challenge my kids to some fun games. These have worked perfectly. All I did was plug the included usb cable into the controller and the other side into the ps3, turned the remote on by pressing the middle “ps3” button on the remote and done. Bluetooth connected with ease. Then unplugged the usb cord and we were good to go. So far the ps3 is remembering them and they are connecting immediately each time we turn them on. No cord needed. I also love that they turn off after a few minutes of inactivity. Press the middle “PS3” button again and it turns on and connects immediately. I’m also surprised at how well it has held up its charge. When I received them, I charged them for about 12 hours or so to make sure it was fully charged. We’ve played a decent amount on them and so far the controller is still showing full charge. Now we can keep the ps3 under the TV and sit across the room and play without worrying about a cord.     • Feels like the original, just a bit light. Or am I remembering wrong?
The days of heightened technology is upon us, and with it a plethora of heavy equipment. I myself like many others enjoy heavier tech because it "feels legit". With the PlayStation 3 controller back in the day, this did not feel like advance equipment, but then again neither did the PS1 / PS2, so it stood it's ground at the time. Nowadays, we're not used to light accessories. So when I felt this for the first time, I was given a bit of a culture shock. "This is how it used to be," I thought. I blinked in disbelief, but, matching it up to my somewhat breaking OG PS3 controller, it felt familiar in a forgotten way. These FEEL just like the olden days. The shape, the size, the weight, all on par with the original PS3 controllers. They work just the same, as well, all buttons reactive, the analogue sticks even more so. I haven't tested vibration, since everyone knows the key to a longer-life battery is to turn off vibration, but I'll update my review once I turn that feature back on. Speaking of battery life, on a single charge I played about three separate games with variety of activity, and the battery is still going strong. We'll see how long it lasts, but it already exceeds expectations. All in all, a blast to the past of forgotten controllers, and an incredibly affordable replacement for a missing or broken controller. ... show more
