Happy buyer
Purchased but arrived with a damaged controller. The seller was quick to respond and replaced. Arrived quickly and no problem from the console itself.

Great system
I bought this for my grandsons birthday. It was just what he wanted. He's very proud of it!

Disc drive and eject button not working. 3rd party firmware installed šŸ˜”
System came with aftermarket firmware installed that wouldnā€™t let me update. Disc drive eject button did not work. PS3 system would not read any discs. Iā€™m not a happy customer because these issues should have been tested because of how blatantly obvious they are makes me think they never even tested a game on it or checked the eject button. ... show more

PS3 looks and works great!
The PS3 console arrived formatted, in excellent physical condition and almost no dust whatsoever; It also included the Manufacturer's Warranty seal sticker underneath the console. The controller was DOA. I am a computer tech, so I just ordered a PS3 controller replacement battery off Amazon and replaced the original battery. The controller works great! I didn't expect the original battery to work after about 10-15 years so I just knew it had to be replaced! The controller had some scratches, but it can be overlooked as this PS3 was from 2013 or prior. I knew this because I pulled out what might have been the original Hard Drive, from 2013! The HDD was marked '13. I decided to upgrade to a 250GB SDD, and the PS3 works flawless. Thank you! ... show more

Worth the risk
Has a few scratches which is to be expected. The console itself seems to be working fine, though the HDMI cable that shipped with the console was faulty. All in all I am satisfied with the purchase.

Wonderstation!
The PS3 Slim I bought in 2010 finally developed the yellow light of death even after a repasting so I decided to opt for the more energy-efficient and lighter-weight PS3 Super Slim. Itā€™s sleek, has a disc tray that isnā€™t motorized and thus wonā€™t fail, and cools a lot more efficiently than the Slim model. When it comes to running processor-intensive games like GTA V, this PS3 Super Slim with its superior cooling never struggles nearly as much as the Slim model during those trying times. I highly recommend this renewed PS3! ... show more
