If you're a heavy gamer looking for a performance graphics card at a competitive price point, this could be a good fit for you. The overwhelmingly positive reviews make this a strong recommendation for any serious gaming setup. Minor issues reported seem to be isolated cases and are outweighed by the numerous advantages of these AMD models.

  • Absolute Beast for 1440p and 4K Gaming
This card crushes everything I throw at it. Great thermals, quiet fans, and the Spectral White edition looks incredible inside a white build. Games like Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, and Starfield run flawlessly. I’m getting 100+ FPS at 1440p max settings on most titles. If you’re team AMD and want flagship performance, this is it. ... show more

  • Pretty expensive card, but pretty much worth the $$
Bought this card to use in my first ever PC build, to this I’ve always used pre-builds given to me by family or friends. Off the shelf, I can immediately say this card runs like an absolute monster. I haven’t tweaked around or over clocked the settings, and it comfortably runs Cyberpunk 2077 on ultra, minus the ray tracing. Oh yeah, that’s another thing which might be a deciding factor for some people, the XTX does not perform well with ray tracing, not that I needed it nor did I want to justify dropping a lot of money for an overpriced 4090. Other than that though, you definitely will appreciate the 24gb of VRAM. Never gets hot, temps hover comfortably around 55-60C while under load. What’s also nice if you don’t want to tweak or overclock, there’s a switch on the side that will switch the card from a lower power, silent mode, or a higher performing “OC” option. I didn’t notice much of a difference on OC, maybe a 2-3FPS improvement? Nice to have regardless. Aesthetically the card is just beautiful too, the white and blue lighting as well as the white color finish just gives it a cool look. Overall my only gripe is the price. Luckily I bought mine on sale for $900, so I can’t say the $1300 MSRP is super worth it unless you can hold out for a sale or buy a used one. ... show more

  • Best money can buy right now
The Radeon RX 7900 XTX has proven to be an outstanding graphics card in my experience. From a performance standpoint, it excels in every game I’ve thrown at it, handling even the most demanding titles without any slowdown. Whether running at stock settings or overclocked, the card maintains smooth gameplay with high frame rates across the board. One of the most impressive aspects of the RX 7900 XTX is how cool it runs, even when overclocked. AMD’s cooling solution is highly effective, ensuring stable temperatures under heavy loads. This is a huge plus for anyone concerned about thermal performance in high-demand scenarios. As for overall design, the card is well-built and feels sturdy, though the size could be seen as a drawback. Like many high-end GPUs in this class, it is large and heavy, which often requires a support bracket to protect the motherboard’s PCI-E slot. However, this seems to be an industry standard for cards of this caliber, so it’s not a dealbreaker. In summary, the RX 7900 XTX delivers fantastic performance, runs cool even under stress, and is a top-tier choice for gamers looking for a high-performance card. Its size is the only minor drawback, but given the power it packs, it’s a worthy trade-off. A simple support bracket or a case with a vertical mounting option complete negates this drawback. ... show more

  • Great graphics, loud whine
The card is extremely loud when playing games due to the whine, your PC would either have to be in another room or use headphones in order to not hear it.

  • May be expensive, but if you can afford it, worth every penny.
The only thing that bugged me about the cars when first getting it, was that it was so THICK (not length that was an issue) that I can to modify my case/vertical mount to get it to fit properly. But other than that, let me just say, this card, is BEAUTIFUL. And I'm upgrading from an RX6700XT, so I already had a great card. But I'm building my nephew a PC for getting into college, so I'm using my older parts for his, and decided to go all out on my components at this point. The card stays COOL, I have the max clock speed set at 3000mhz, 1100mv, 2600mhz VRAM speed, 15%+ power limit increase, and WOW..... it performs fantastic. Truly. I don't even game at 4k (YET, at least. My HP X32 1440p/ 165hz 1ms monitor is still serving me wonderfully, and I just get maxed out FPS running it at 1440p for now. But the looks of the card, beautiful as well. But it just performs so damn well. Fans barely even have to come on, even at 1440p High and even Ultra in some games. The white LED's look great with any color scheme, the blue look great with matching colors, and looks great with them turned off even. I know the 7900XT can be had for ~$800 rn, which is still a GREAT deal, but I wanted that extra 4GB VRAM vs the 20GB on the XT. 24GB VRAM handles heavy loads like a champ, and IF IT IS IN YOUR BUDGET, I recommend the card highly. Absolutely LOVE it. ... show more

  • A terrible card by a terrible company
This was my first foray into the AMD world and let me tell you I WILL NEVER BUY AMD AGAIN. This card has been a nightmare from the beginning. First off It is so loud that it out does my fans. I did do an RMA for the card and they replaced it. But the new card is just as bad. And then then constant crashes in games is infuriating. If I'm lucky I might get a few hours in a game before a crash. Then to make matters worse now the card hard crashes my computer and forces a hard restart. then it loses drives and I am forced to wipe all the driver from my computer and reinstall all of them. And this happens at least every 1-2 hours. And when I reached out to power color for help they ghost me because they know they sent a junk item and don't want to own up to it. Now I am stuck with a card that is no better than a paper weight. Do not buy from power color or AMD it is a waste of time and money. ... show more
