  • Great card for 1440p gaming
Wow, just wow. If you don’t care for ray tracing & play 1440p or above then this card is a must have for the next 5+ years. I have this bad boy paired with a 5800x3d, both are undervolted, the GPU has a slight over clock & +15PL. GPU changes are done in MSI afterburner, I’ve been using it recently after finding Adrenalin has been causing a ton of driver timeout errors. Adrenalin aside the experience has been great. Install was easy & the GPU mount required no extra silly screws or anything that required effort really. This card tanks everything I’ve played on it so far. Squad, squad 44, multiple paradox titles, hell divers, extremely modded total war games. For the most part are all averaging 120fps or more (my monitor is 144hz) . Some negatives. This GPU is long, it’s not as long as other XTX models but it’s still long. It’s like 60% longer than the asus dual 4070 it replaced & occupied near a full slot more than an already 2.5 slot card lol. This GPU can also be hot. At stock voltage Even with no power limit increase it’s still a 300+ watt card. That’s a lot. A slight undervolt can drastically reduce temps even if you increase power limit. But just be prepared for the heat. Make sure you have adequate airflow & heat exhaust. On the power note the hellhound spectral model only requires TWO 8pin/6+2 pcie cables. Anyways just a great card. Hope to keep it for a long time. ... show more

  • Best money can buy right now
The Radeon RX 7900 XTX has proven to be an outstanding graphics card in my experience. From a performance standpoint, it excels in every game I’ve thrown at it, handling even the most demanding titles without any slowdown. Whether running at stock settings or overclocked, the card maintains smooth gameplay with high frame rates across the board. One of the most impressive aspects of the RX 7900 XTX is how cool it runs, even when overclocked. AMD’s cooling solution is highly effective, ensuring stable temperatures under heavy loads. This is a huge plus for anyone concerned about thermal performance in high-demand scenarios. As for overall design, the card is well-built and feels sturdy, though the size could be seen as a drawback. Like many high-end GPUs in this class, it is large and heavy, which often requires a support bracket to protect the motherboard’s PCI-E slot. However, this seems to be an industry standard for cards of this caliber, so it’s not a dealbreaker. In summary, the RX 7900 XTX delivers fantastic performance, runs cool even under stress, and is a top-tier choice for gamers looking for a high-performance card. Its size is the only minor drawback, but given the power it packs, it’s a worthy trade-off. A simple support bracket or a case with a vertical mounting option complete negates this drawback. ... show more

  • Pretty expensive card, but pretty much worth the $$
Bought this card to use in my first ever PC build, to this I’ve always used pre-builds given to me by family or friends. Off the shelf, I can immediately say this card runs like an absolute monster. I haven’t tweaked around or over clocked the settings, and it comfortably runs Cyberpunk 2077 on ultra, minus the ray tracing. Oh yeah, that’s another thing which might be a deciding factor for some people, the XTX does not perform well with ray tracing, not that I needed it nor did I want to justify dropping a lot of money for an overpriced 4090. Other than that though, you definitely will appreciate the 24gb of VRAM. Never gets hot, temps hover comfortably around 55-60C while under load. What’s also nice if you don’t want to tweak or overclock, there’s a switch on the side that will switch the card from a lower power, silent mode, or a higher performing “OC” option. I didn’t notice much of a difference on OC, maybe a 2-3FPS improvement? Nice to have regardless. Aesthetically the card is just beautiful too, the white and blue lighting as well as the white color finish just gives it a cool look. Overall my only gripe is the price. Luckily I bought mine on sale for $900, so I can’t say the $1300 MSRP is super worth it unless you can hold out for a sale or buy a used one. ... show more

  • Beautiful
Beautiful and hard to beat for the price. I wanted an all white build so my options were limited. I can max every game with little to no problems.

  • Driver issues
After having time to use this graphics card and play games I can safely say that I will never buy another AMD graphics card again. The design looks amazing, but the drivers for the graphics card constantly have issues causing games to crash. No matter how many times I troubleshoot and adjust my graphics for my games they either crash or stutter because of the driver issues that AMD releases. They did manage to get the drivers right where any and all games would work phenomenally, but for some reason with a different update to their drivers it somehow would cause more issues for gaming. My next PC build will not be including a AMD graphics card. ... show more
