  • Nice PC controller
Style: Spectra Infinity Wired
Very smooth feeling controller. I like the extra buttons on the back for shortening the throw of the triggers. Also a fan of the customizable light sceme on it. Has a very decent amount of color customization so I was able to match it to my PC color sceme. The joysticks have a really nice texture on them too. Nice controller for PC gaming ... show more

  • After over a year of use, the best Xbox controller for PC
Style: Spectra Infinity Wired
The back paddle buttons are in the hardware, and not software. This means there is no delay or drivers required when using these buttons on the PC, when compared to every other Xbox controllers I tested (that cost 3x as much). I play mostly racing games (FH5, ACC, and Wreckfest) and I'm able to be very competitive with this controller. The thumb sticks are some of the best I've ever used, the grip on them is very good at preventing fingers from slipping. They are lower profile, that is good for fast reactions, they are not as low as the Steam controller, but lower than most other Xbox controllers I've used. The grip/paddle buttons are ergonomically located (unlike controllers that cost 3x as much). I don't use the lights or the headphone jack, so I can't say anything about that. I have no complains about the D-pad, that seems pretty standard. I think costs were cut on the front buttons, since they rattle a little, but have never had an issue with them in games and for the price I have no complaints. It has held up for over a year of use most days. I don't notice any drift on the thumb stick, as compared to when I first got it. I've had Steam controller's thumb stick fail sooner, so this is impressive for the price. If you have a PC, I highly recommend it! --- Update, 2 years later (2024). I still notice no drift or issues with this controller. I play FH5 for an hour or two most days. The left thumb stick, that I use for driving, takes slightly less effort to move than the right, so it is getting weaker with time. I still have the center point set to start at 1% so the drift is still less than 1%, so I'm impressed. It has already lasted longer than two Steam controllers. I'm still competitive in games with it. If you game all day, I could see it going out in a year. If you game a couple hours most days, it should last 2-3 years. ... show more

  • Better Than Your Average Joe
Style: Spectra Infinity Wired
You have 15 LED color options for 3 parts of your controller to spark with either how you feel, how your room looks like, what looks cool, or just your favorite color (in the picture I turned off 1 of the 3 LED parts of the controller). I love the design for this Xbox One Controller, and below the trigger buttons there are adjustable buttons for how sensitive you want your trigger buttons to be (like how fast the trigger reacts when pulling down). At first you will be baffled by the 4 new buttons on the back of the controller, where 1 button on both sides of the controller can be programmed to be used as a copy for any of the buttons on the controller, (like to make crouch spamming easier). The other 2 buttons are also behind, in the middle, where you can adjust your LEDs and program the new buttons. I watched YouTube videos to help me and they don’t tell you that you can disable LED parts from lighting up by pressing the joysticks while adjusting the LEDs. It takes time to learn everything on the controller, but you’ll figure it out. The only downside is that you cannot use batteries on this controller, so you have to charge it directly from the Xbox. This means you cannot Bluetooth your controller to your phone or anything else. My only pet peeve with these controllers are that the middle power button don’t glow, but it makes up for it by making a little white glowing dot beneath the power button when it is on with the many LEDs turning on as well, (if you turn the LEDs on, which will turn on automatically when you turn on your controller, unless you push the button to not make it turn on.) With these impressive features the controller is about the same as the standard Xbox One Controller, except that the trigger buttons have a grip to them. Keep in mind you do not want to put grease on this controller, like any controller in fact, but this controller especially since the material is different and can leave stubborn residues, or hard to see stains if not cleaned in a proper amount of time compared to the standard Xbox One controller, as it is made of what appears to be slightly cheaper material, but with a nice smooth touch to it. ... show more
