  • Best controller we have yet
So far we are really impressed with functionality and how stunning it is while changing! It's so customizable!

  • Good controller for the price I paid.
Pretty cool controller. Does not hold a candle to my Elite series 2 but its still a good controller. Would like it to be a bit heavier. Textures feel good in the hand. I would not pay full price...but I bought it open box on Amazon warehouse.

  • The pro series always exceeds expectations!
I am an avid gamer who is always looking for the edge! I have used all the Elite series controllers , the Victrix, Scuf, and the Fusion Pro Series 1. I was using the Elite Series 2 for awhile and saw this controller pop up and the series one had a great weight to it which is key for me. Needless to say I ordered this one because of the super cool RGB effects and wow it is amazing. Wireless, Beautiful, and the functionality is amazing. ... show more

  • Hate the software, "PowerA Gamer HQ" App. Cheap controller material, poor functionality.
So, I had to repost this review because Amazon found it too unfriendly or something, or the company simply didn't like it. Too bad, I'll keep reposting till it stays. Their app is so frustrating to navigate, who designed this? The controller isn't the WORST but right out of the box, I have a laundry list of complaints. For one, I'm not too fond of how the grips feel. Hands will get sweaty faster on that kind of material, remapping is hell. The unnecessarily bright RGB is cute but useless to me, and there is no way to just turn it off during play. It has 3 brightness settings basically and they're all too much. The wave/flash modes are even worse despite being technically "off," but instead $ach button press blinding you no matter how low the brightness is or what colors available. This controller was designed for influencers on streams or kids to show off while giving gamers who care more about function a headache. This is supposed to be OFFICIALLY licensed, yes? Well, pressing the sync button on your Xbox and the controller will NOT sync the controller at all. It does NOT connect to an Xbox natively and REQUIRES the included USB dongle to be plugged in to your console. That sync button only works with the included dongle. It works with that or wired. Which is fine and all, but feels like Microsoft simply rubber stamped their license and the company cheaped out on total compatibility. The controller feels cheap overall, I'm sorry, but it is, and I'm very disappointed. The whole setup with the case and charging mount was nice in concept BEFORE I got my hands on them. The charger gives ZERO indication that the controller is actively charging. Also, your Xbox CANNOT read the battery and tell you the percentage left or anything. So the controller dies when it dies, and charges when it charges, you have NO WAY OF KNOWING what's going on with the battery through an app, through the Xbox, or any indicator on any device from the included hardware with your "premium" PowerA controller. Hell, PowerA markets much cheaper controls that have this one simple feature down like most controllers, idk how you could mess this up on your most featured, expensive product. If you're going to make such a "fancy" RGB controller, at least use the RGB lights functionally to tell you the controller is charging. Even cheap, $30 junk on Amazon pulls off some kind of battery indication, and you're telling me an over $150+ PowerA controller couldn't give you ANY at all? This company must really love to cut corners. I bought another controller from them last year that recently bricked, waiting for warranty claim to go through. But after trying their supposedly highest-end wireless controller, to be so disappointed...? I think I'm done. This is my last time bothering with PowerA products. ... show more

  • Good and solid controller, a bit heavy and thicker than expected
I got this for the curiosity of what makes a leading controller. The controller is nice in that it's all standard Xbox style interfaces with some neat additions. For the high price point this is really for, in my opinion, extreme gamers that need the button mapping and cycling of controls. The lights are nice but ultimately will end up using more battery. Good: +Hall-effect sticks and triggers ensure longevity of the controller +Buttons feel solid, they are not click/switch ones but don't feel cheap either +Graphic is nice and hidden unless you want it to show with the lights +Trigger limits are interesting, allows better control of each stage and can be useful for some games. Driving for example limit throttle dynamically. Limits puts in a physical block on the trigger and you can squeeze past the limits. +Stick height adjustment is nice and adaptable. They don't move easily which is nice +Fast response times and consistent between wired and wireless. On par with other pro-style controllers +Headphone jack does work wireless. Bright red light when muted. Only activates when jack in use, otherwise hidden in windows +Magnetic charger can be snapped onto controller while using, very nice to not interrupt gaming +Back buttons line up rather nicely to a natural hold for me. +Interesting pro mode, adjustable sensitivities per game possible. Using within game could be problematic with switching though possible after training. +Docking station is really nice, great display of controller and has a slot for dongle. +Highly protected carry case for just the controller with wire and dongle in pouch. +Strong motors, feels like there are 4 reactive ones Questionable: * Low sample rate, max 250Hz with both wired and wireless. Appears non-adjustable at the moment * Controller is stuck on what appears to be RAW mode only, no circularity tuning possible despite calibration. To some this is preferred and to others 0% error is desired. (See circularity chart) * Requires deadzone adjustment and calibration. This is only accomplishable via software provided. Deadzone needed about 5% center to be applied * Charging with magnetic charger causes full lights to turn on, despite defining mode. Requires setting of lights to desired reaction after disconnection. This, though, is not a problem when lights are off as it stays off after flashing signifying it's charging. * Bulky design, underside of controller where fingers tend to rest on others is filled in quite a bit. Comparing to a simpler controller it's quite thick Bad: - Light controls are broken within software. The windows app allows you to select from a wheel but it always stays green. This is not so much of an issue to me but is a marketing for this. You can painfully control the lights via controller with several clicks. - Notes: Undocumented: Lights can be turned off with view/menu buttons at same time During calibration: Do not press down on sticks, it will impact calibration rather significantly ... show more

  • Great Xbox Controller
Becoming my favorite controller. Only complaint the software needs a little work but other than that it is top notch.

  • Good controller, questionable build quality
I honestly loved the controller for the roughly 1-2 months I was able to use it. The left joystick completely gave out after about 1.5 months. Was really disappointed as I was told that Powera controllers had very good quality and durability. Love the look and feel but can't rate it higher due to the durability, even if mine was some kind of outlier. Would've loved to get another one to see, but it broke right after the return period. Shame. ... show more
