  • High quality, great value, light weight, sturdy, does what it claims
We needed a small, light, folding electric wheelchair for my wife. It needed to be light enough for me to lift in and out of the car and it needed to fold like a small airline bag to fit in the back of her Kia Soul. This wheelchair is surprisingly sturdy and checks all of the needed boxes for us. It comes fully assembled (except for the small anti-tip wheels that just plug in), it came fully charged and it worked right out of the box. Pros: Very sturdy and well made. Each arm can fold back out of the way. The controls are simple and easy to work. The foot rest is clever and sturdy. The power and speed are just what is needed. It is quiet but not silent. If you turn off the controller it can be pushed manually when needed. Cons: It does not move or steer well on carpet. The rear wheels provide power and the front ones swivel freely so it can be inaccurate to steer, especially on rough surfaces. It has no cup holder or basket but there is a small pouch behind the seat. There is no key to prevent it from being taken. The "horn" might scare a housefly but not much else. It was difficult to move and steer when we set it up in the house on the carpet. However, when we tried it at stores it worked very well. My wife had a great time shopping in it. It moved and steered well and it had no trouble with inclines; we drove it from the car into a mall, we went from one end to the other end and back and then drove it back to the car. Only one battery light went off through all of that and we still have not needed to charge it. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • Worth every penny!
Arrived well packaged and almost ready for use. Pulls right out of the box and unfolds easily. I just flipped down the foot rest, put my foot on it to anchor it and pulled up using the “handle” section of the chair back. Our chair easily unfolded with minimal effort then I latched the mechanism to ensure it wouldn’t accidentally fold up while in use. I cut off several foam protectors attached with plastic zip ties. Our chair arrived partially charged and it turned right on. It’s definitely got ample speed and power for all we’ve done indoors and out. Our chair hasn’t had any problems with flat surfaces or changes in surfaces. We haven’t tried it grassy areas or on cobblestones. It’s easily handled roadway and driveway surfaces, brick, flagstone, slate and concrete surfaces, and trex decking with ease, including the small transitions/joints and level changes from one surfaces to another. So far it’s been easy to assist my husband with “higher” thresholds and transitions (same as his manual chair). Our chair’s joystick is sensitive and easy to use for both speed and maneuvering. The first speed (one light) indicator is plenty fast for indoors and out. Not sure why four speeds are needed. My husband hasn’t needed more than the speed of the first speed indicator. It is very simple to manage speed with the joystick by pushing less towards the fullest point. Cornering is great. You can spin in a full circle in place. Indoor maneuvering has been very easy, even in tight spaces with some practice. Our home is older with narrower (24”, 28” and 30”) doorways throughout (one of the major factors in our decision making) but the chair sails right through all but the smallest without worries about nicking the door jambs, the 24” doorway is easy enough to get through by approaching it slowly. I especially like the way it folds - like a clamshell. It makes it much easier to get the chair in and out of our car and takes up much less space in our car (Outback) than the manual wheelchair. I especially like the folded chair because of its lighter weight and because I can “pack it” lying flat, standing on its side, and standing up on its wheels - that flexibility allows me plenty of space for our other stuff - suitcases, groceries, and shopping. We’ve had our chair for a month and haven’t had or found an issue. Our chair is very sturdy and solid - it’s attractive and most importantly, it’s well designed and made. The seat fits my husband well and he’s always been comfortable in it. The battery is super easy to click in and out. But the charger on the underside of the controller is how we’ve been charging it because it’s super easy to plug into. With all his use, we’ve only gone down one light on the battery for a busy/long day. So far the battery life appears to be very good. Our chair arrived partially charged. We put it on the charger overnight and it was fully charged when we got up. The smallish pouch on the back of the seat is handy for 2 smart phones with protector cases, 1 rescue inhaler, 1 set of car/house keys, tickets and 2 skinny single use eye drop vials. In case you are a lefty, it was pretty simple for me to transfer the controller from the right armrest to the left armrest. I took off the Velcro fastened cover, wiggled three zip ties to the left, and that freed up about an 1.5 inch play that was just enough to allow the controller to pass under the seat to other side (important tip - slightly fold the chair to create a gap under the seat large enough to pass the controller through). Loosen the set knob, remove the controller, pass the controller under the seat to the left side, attach the controller holder bracket to the left arm, and then slide the controller into the under the armrest holder and tighten the set knob. Note to transfer the controller holder bracket from right to left: Flip the right arm up, loosen and remove two different screws (one Phillips, one hex) holding the controller holder bracket, then flip up the left arm, align the holes in the controller holder bracket with the holes in the left arm, then screw the two screws in securely. After you insert the controller into the holder bracket and tighten the set knob you are able to flip the left arm straight up if needed to get in/out or cozy up to a table. The chair has a nuisance backup beeper! To turn it off I simply turned the chair on, and held down the speed button and the horn button at the same time. Presto, no more back up beeper. Outside it’s probably not as loud and annoying. Inside, it had be turned off! Prior to purchase I had a ton of questions to make sure I was making a good choice - $1000 is a lot of money to us. Several chair sellers never responded to my questions. However this seller Weihong, responded quickly to every question - usually same day, and no more than next day. And I asked about 15 questions and every question received a fast response. They worked with me to make sure I had it for our first mini vacation trip including a wheelchair. After we received the chair I had a few more questions, I asked using message to seller and their customer service number. Super fast responses both to messages and from a live customer service agent. Overall, the seller holding my hand and with great speed and courtesy responding to all my questions was another key decision point in favor if this chair and this seller. We highly recommend both! I think that sums up our experience pretty thoroughly. I would highly recommend this chair/seller for anyone who needs a lightweight, well made, and easy to use electric chair. Our only caveat would be that the chair seat is small so if you’re larger, be sure you carefully consider its seat measurements. My husband is 5’8” and 149 pounds and he is comfortable for all day outings. The independence it has yielded and it’s easy (and so far dependable) functionality has made this a great investment. If you need one, I would say get this one! ... show more

  • Light weight, not the best electric wheelchair
It is light weight, folds easily, but that is where it ends. Speed controller not smooth, motors doesn't have enough power to operate when going sideways on a grade. Battery range questionable, especially when used than indoors. Don't need a horn, because the motor/gear noise is so loud. Drive wheels materials are so hard, no traction on hard surfaces, or trying to go over small edges. With electrical power on, when you come to a stop, NO hill hold. Must use manual brakes, not one lever, but two levers. When fully charged, it has very speed on flat ground. It is chair not designed for sitting for comfort for a long period of time. The chair is just adequate for outdoor use, as long as the surface is smooth and flat. ... show more

  • Don't waste $800.00 on this chair.
This wheelchair is wothless. It is small but very unconfortable. The stick control is completely uncontrolable. The chair just jerks around. The chair is not made well and is dangerous.

  • Great Chair
My husband was using a very large power chair that required an accessible van for transporting him. He has gained strength and the ability to transfer into a car, but his hand are not able to Push himself in a manuel chair. This chair works perfect for us and we were able to sell the van. It folds easily and fits into the trunk of our car. The chair actually weighs 41 pounds, but I, a 52 year old 5’ 0” tall woman can manage it. My husband is 5’7” and 170 pounds the chair fits him very good. We did add a small cushion for more comfort on the seat for him. ... show more
