Once assembled and hung, I love it for my tools that I wanted to be readily available. It's a good size, and I like that the design for the side pieces are interchangeable. I wanted to get my smaller power tools out of my toolbox drawers since I was running out of space. This looked like it would work well for that and was very simple to assemble. Assembly took around 15 minutes and just make sure you have the sides facing the right orientation (look for the wall mount holes). If you notice in my pictures I didn't put the side mount items on because I don't need them nor have the room. I may add them later if need be. Some power tools may need to be flipped to slide on the racks like you see with my oscillating tool but it does fit. I tried to put my small nail gun on a rack and it didn't fit. My favorite part is being able to have a place for my batteries to sit and for their chargers. It keeps everything together and I love it but you'd have to have some exactly what they have in the picture for it to fit that much and look that nice. The small drawers (x3) worked out to store my headlamp and safety glasses but could also be used for drill bits, saw blades and other things to go with your power tools. I didn't use any of the supplied wall mount hardware because I conveniently had a stud on the left side and used some drywall anchors for the right side that I prefer. Open the box, I can see lots of quality metal parts made of solid steel. But also that start the confusion. I found only 2 parts are labeled (A and B), the reset has no label, so we really need the 1 page 2 sided manual to figure out which is which. And also read carefully to assemble it right. Hint: To assemble this and to put in in place (wall) really need a DIY with proper tool. I am just an average DIY with "proper tool", and it takes me 30 minutes to put it together, and 20 minutes to fix it into the wall. Most of the time is planning and figuring out the right way to do. The actual work (with proper tool) is actually less than 15 minutes). To make the process fast and easier, we need to lay down all the part in sequence: A,B,C,D,E...... (even though only A and B is labeled). Hint: To assemble this, I use a Cordless screw driver (If you use the manual screw driver it will take forever and probably will strip the screw). It is really very hard to do it with manual screw driver (you need the quality bit and lots of torque). I figured out that the screw is from the outer side and the nut is the inner side (takes time to try and figure it out because the is no clue on the manual). If you do that the other way around, it gets difficult to screw it (especially using powered tools). After all the parts assembled (without the "wing" parts), I use my Laser leveler to layout the 6 holes in the wall. Drill it with the smallest drill first (pilot hole to make sure it is centered) and than do the actual drill size. Fix the anchor and put the assembly on the wall. Both the provided anchors and screws are good quality. Hint: To make the process easy, after you have plan for fix placement, make a single small hole to screw a temporary screw to hang the assembly. So you don't need to hold it while drawing the required 6 holes. After securing the assembly (again using the Cordless Screw driver), install the wing on both sides. (See the attached photos for the process and the final use). Overall I am very happy with this Tool Organizer. Highly recommend it! ... show more

This was a pain in the butt to assemble but the instructions were good and well written. Drawer is very flimsy and won’t hold anything that couldn’t be dropped. If fully loaded this metal would definitely sag under the weight.

Having just moved into a new house, I need to start from scratch on organizing all my tools. I was seriously on the verge of building my own cordless tool organizer when I came across this and decided to check it out. I should not have been surprised that it requires assembly, but it did catch off guard more a moment. But then I realized it only makes sense. As you can see in the pictures above, it all was packed neatly in a small box which belied the actual, assembled unit. There weren't many parts to assemble, but I figured it would be nice to report how long assembly took, so I laid the pieces out on the floor, set my timer, and got started. The instructions are a bit tedious simply because of the small print, but all the information is there is you get out your magnifying glasses. It took me exactly twenty seven minutes to assemble, on my first attempt. I say first attempt because when I was done, I realized I had mounted the bottom shelf backward. Three minutes later I had it turned around. This step was easy to miss, once again because of the small diagram, but when I put on my reading glasses and studied for a minute, sure enough the instructions showed how to correctly assemble. All this aside, I really like this. It is compact, but will hold all the cordless drills and impact drivers I have, plus it has a nice drawer for holding bits and such. It is sturdy and sleek and will do exactly what I need it to do—keep me organized in my tool shop! ... show more
