I'm making a quilt for my 11 year old granddaughter. She loves pink and purple and I used a variety of batik designs and shades. The trim was giving me fits because I was trying to bring purple, aqua, and hot pink together. This looked like an option. The style of batik I'm using has very small designs so I took a chance on the size of the pattern. Turns out the designs on the material were too large to look right with my quilt. Not sure the tape measure is legible but it's 7 or 8" across the smoky looking spots. Having said all that lol, I sew every day and this will be put to good use at some point. Glad I have it. It's something I would've made a sundress with when I lived in St Croix. Light and cool, but not so thin as to be transparent in the sun. To those of you that sew, I read reviews before I buy. They're very helpful and I hope this will be helpful as well. Btw, I even like the little cloudy spots. ... show more

Looks like a mixture of bleach spots and grease all over. Not even vibrant like the picture, wanted something bright for my quilt and this is not it.
