I recently installed this set of drilled and slotted rotors and brake pads on my 2020 Ford Expedition Max 4x4, and the difference is night and day. On a vehicle this size—especially the Max—weight is always a factor, but these handled the mass effortlessly. Pros: • Superior Interstate Performance: The drilled and slotted rotors are a game changer on long trips. Compared to the OEM setup, these stay much cooler and provide consistent, fade-free braking even after hours of high-speed interstate driving. • Zero Brake Dust: I’m extremely impressed that the dust is virtually non-existent. My wheels stay clean much longer than they ever did with the factory pads. • Massive Stopping Power: The initial bite and overall braking force are significantly better than stock. I feel much more confident bringing this heavy rig to a halt. • Dead Silent: These have been perfectly quiet since the first mile. No grinding or high-pitched squeal whatsoever. • Firm Pedal Feel: Whether it’s stop-and-go traffic or descending grades, the pedal remains firm and responsive. I wasn't disappointed in the brakes on my 2020 F-150, but I added a couple of inches in the front and slapped on some 35's. They aren't super wide, heavy tires, but I knew they would still be heavier, so I decided upgrading the brakes was a good idea.
