I had 65000 mostly highway miles on my 2016 Ford Fusion and the rear brakes were failing with the rear roters having deep grooves. The fronts were still ok, but I dedcided to replace both sets with the power stops. I have to admit that after installation and the break in procedure I was a little underwhelmed on the stopping power of these compared to the semi-metallic factory pads. However after driving a couple of weeks and using them they now perform as good as or better than the factory brakes and should last a lot longer . The kit came with everything needed and was nicely labled It was heavy though around 70 lbs so be ready for that . Installation was easy enough after watching a couple of you tube vids..did fronts and rears for half of what the dealer wanted to just do the rears ... show more

This kit is excellent, but I do have a tip for installation. When you are trying to install the new rubber boots in the caliper bracket, make sure you thoroughly clean the holes and lube both the hole and the rubber insert. Then grab the tapered end of the insert with a pair of pliers and use a twisting motion while you are trying to push it into the hole. Trying to get those inserts in (especially the ones with the plastic inner pieces) was a huge pain in the butt before I figured out this technique. One other tip - when you are trying to get the old brake rotors off, don't beat the front side of the rotor. There is a gap behind the rotor that is the perfect size to stick a bar or tire iron in. Using that gap as the pivot point, the bar can be moved back and jerked foward until it hits the rotor. Because of some simple physics that I won't bother going into, it makes it so instead of beating the rotor with a hammer to take it off, you can pop it off completely with no more than 5 impacts of the bar by hand. Plus, it makes a heck of a lot less noise. ... show more

My son needed brakes for his 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium. I told him don't go to the dealership it would cost him over $1200 to do both axles. The rotors were beautiful and WELL MADE. The rotors were not a aftermarket nightmare. They went on with no problem ( took to local repair shop). The brake pads work well with the rotors with great response to the brake pedal. The braking distance seem like it shorten and was a safer car now. No wobble in the car at all. Extremely pleased with this product. Yes would buy again. Brakes are good and all but it leaves dust even worse than my OEM brakes. Like Jesus I only had them for a week and my wheels are all dusty. I’ll give it more time to settle. But overall I like the looks and braking power is good if not better than oem.

I was surprised that new boots, clips, and grease was supplied with the kit; I only expected pads and rotors. Installation is straight forward, but this is not my first brake job. The combo of pads and rotors is smooth and quiet. I'm very happy with the performance of these pads. I can't attest to the fade resistance, since I do not race nor live in hilly terrain, but for coastal driving I've never had a problem. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

    • Great Brake Kit - Just had trouble with rear caliper rubber slider boots.
This review is for the Power Stop K6556 Front and rear Brake Kit and Z23 Evolution Ceramic Brake Pads. At 85k miles my Ford Fusion 2013 Ecoboost SE 2.0L was in need of a full brake job and this kit was a great upgrade to the stock ford brakes. I had to purchase a hammer drill to break up the rust behind the rotors and I also bought a hydryalic puller from Harbor Frieght to pull the rotors from the hub. I only needed the hydralic puller for the fronts. The hammer drill broke free the rotors in the rear pretty easily. The best advise I could give would be to not remove the rubber bushings from the rear calipers and keep it stock. The rear caliper has a lower rubber bushing that has a plastic insert inside it that makes it impossible to compress it back into the hole of the caliper. So far the new kit has been great and I highly recommend it. ... show more
