The low-dust ceramic formula brake pads are reinforced with carbon fibers to strengthen the compound. They are dust free, nose-free, and give you increased braking power without sacrificing everyday drivability. The rotors are cast using the finest G3000 metallurgy with strict OE tolerances - making them a perfect, bolt-on upgrade without the need to make any modifications. Precision drill holes allow for maximum rotor cooling. This keeps your brakes temperatures down during extreme operating conditions. Rounded slots help wipe away any gas or debris - keeping a clear contact patch on the rotor surface for safe, smooth braking. This kit came complete with lube packets, pad shims, and all of the little caliper hardware pieces for my daughter's Kia Forte. As with most brake jobs, it's mostly labor and having proper tools (like an impact screwdriver and caliper piston tool - the rear caliper pistons in her Kia have to be screwed back into the caliper before installing the pads. A C-clamp won't cut it) but these parts fit perfectly the first time and were complete, so I didn't have to stop what I was doing and run to the local auto parts place for something. As long as you have a few cans of brake cleaner, the proper tools, some shop rags and the know-how (yay YouTube!), you can knock this job out pretty quickly. The only improvement would be to possibly include some replacement "rotor retaining screws". Those little buggers are sure to be rusty and are pretty likely to get messed up on removal, even with an impact screwdriver. The break-in is important, and the recommended method is mentioned on the pad boxes as well as on a "instruction brochure" that is in the box with the parts. In all, I would definitely buy these again and think they are an excellent value for what I paid. ... show more

These brakes work perfectly on my 2012 Veloster N/A with stock rims. Only installed the front so far but I can't imagine the rear won't fit. I'll update the review once I get the rear installed.

    • Does not disappoint
I bought this kit as a starting point of a break upgrade for my 2015 Kia Forte. This kit does not disappoint what so ever, every time I get on the breaks. My only complaint is that it didnt come with a break caliper kit as well. But beggars cant be choosers right?

    • noisy, flapping noise when stopping. I wont ever be buying grooved or slotted again.
They seem to work but are noisy when stopping. I hate them but Im not dealing with getting new breaks, taking these off, putting new ones on, mailing these back and waiting on a refund. DO not get grooved rotors. They may look neat but they sound like a kid is running a stick along a fence every time you break. ... show more
