    • Vastly superior braking!
Bought a 2016 Corolla S-Plus from a used car dealership who replaced the brakes in their own garage. They put Akebono pads on...normally a very good brand...but onto the existing rotors. They did not cut the rotors nor even remove the glaze from the old pads. It's what happens when you want to be able to say "new brakes" but don't want to spend any real time or money to do it right. They barely stopped this car, and it's not a heavy car. Stopping when wet was near panic, like "is this thing gonna stop or not?!?!?". Perfect waste of a good set of pads. So I bought this kit...I lost count but it's about the 7th set of Powerstop brakes I've bought, and installed them myself. Of course disk brakes are a piece of cake to install. I bedded them in like the instructions said to...and my braking is now up there where I'd say "superior". They stop predictably dry or wet, and I have yet to get them too hot to work properly (a few 90MPH down to 70MPH in quick time when the radar detector went off), they never once even began to fade. The Powerstop on my Tacoma are coming up on 20,000 miles and still look and work like new. I'll keep buying Powerstop...they just plain work very well. ... show more

When I bought the Kit last November, I did not get a chance to install them until February of this year, due to snow and being kept in my garage for most of winter. The product started off good, but did not even last a year. After the fourth month I started noticing rust. I was thinking how could they be rusting so quick if they are supposed to have a superior rust resistant coating. I always stay on top of all of my vehicles maintenance, because not having a working vehicle limits a person from vast job opportunities. I tried cleaning them, but it didnt help. I Was going to get them professionally machined down, but then that would just mean a even shorter life cycle of the product. By the seventh month the rotors were starting to eat away at the performance brake pads more and more. Eigth month had to replace the performance brake pads which came with the performance rotors. Also in the Eight month the car would vibrate when slowing at any speed. Tenth month I had enough and bought new premium rotors from another brand with Electrophoretic coat which in my opinion protects properly against rust and cracking. ... show more

    • Look great on my Toyota Corolla 2012...stopping power....had to buy break grease at O'rielly
I just put them on, perfect fit for Toyota Corolla 2012. My car was shaking when i pressed on the breaks so i knew it was time to change the breaks on my Toyota Corolla 2012....I changed the Front breaks at 50,000 miles....and now its at 115,000. They were a perfect copy of the original pads. Size and Shape wise. The clips were exact copies as well. I heard a little bit of squeaking but I just put them on but it stops on a dime and i did not feel the steering wheel shake anymore. The breaks could still be adjusting. I was not sure where to put the wear indicator so i left those off. I did not see an indicator on my Corolla. Also i noticed there was no grease in the box so i bought some packets at O'rielly auto parts. So far....working well! ... show more

    • Much better - no more rotor warp!
I felt funny putting these on a frikin Corolla, but my reasoning was that on the highways around here I go from 85 to 0 about 3 to 5 times a trip during rush hour... it’s ridiculous the way traffic is. Anyway, my 2018 OEM brakes, it’s like Toyota didn’t take these driving situations into account when calculating the size of the brake pad and my rotors would warp with plenty of meat left on the pads. I bought and installed these and it makes a huge difference...stopping is better, but most importantly for me is these pads are bigger,and have the large chamfers on the end which increase the pads size as the pad wears so you always have the same heat dissipation. That and the better rotors are translating into no more warped rotors shimmying the wheel all the time... ... show more

    • Working great on a 2013 Toyota Corolla S!
Installed for 3 months now, and still working great. Easy to install and perfect fit for 2013 Toyota Corolla S. Definitely noticed a difference in braking power in highway speeds, but not so much of a difference 0-30 mph. But certainly as good or slightly better than OEM brake pads and rotors that came with my Toyota. Hardly any brake dust since installation either. Even pad wear and no permanent rusting so far. These pad and rotors will definitely stop the wheels from turning when pressed hard, as done during emergency braking. I didn't feel the same confidence with my old pads and rotors, despite them being in good working condition. My advice is make sure you clean and lubricate all the cars brake parts appropriately before installing these to avoid issues. ... show more

Loved it!!! They really do exactly that they tell you they will! Better stopping power, virtually noise free which i was very impressed about! Almost no brake dust!!! I would say on daily basis that i drove from 0%-100% brake dust i had before with the stock ones and some other after market ones i had 65% brake dust(stock ones) 98% brake dust and horrible noise (with some other aftermarket ones) which i returned in less than 2 weeks,.... and with these rotors and pads from power stop i have about 20% brake dust and thats because i drive a lot about 120 miles every day ... show more

    • Great stopping power
These brakes are awesome ...they bring my Toyota to a screeching halt when needed. I have owned other brands and these rotors and pads are excellent. The only thing I have an issue with is the price, very pricey, but I will admit they cannot put a price on safety and these brakes get it done.

Easy to install, installed this on a 09 Toyota Corolla S..ever since I installed it, great braking performance and rotors are excellent, after few car washes and been raining every now and then quite a bit, and guess what, not a single sight of rotors being nasty yellow rusted at all, I installed some top of the line autozone brand in the past and as soon as water got on them they rusted, I recommend this product highly! ... show more
