Just installed these but from the word "go", the kit is a quality product. I got the caliper slides/pad bushings, boots for the caliper pins, pads, slotted and cross-drilled rotors, and INSTRUCTIONS! (Didn't need those but what a nice touch!) I followed their bedding procedure for the pads and got a nice smell out of the pads (that's a good sign) and then took it out in DC rush hour traffic this morning and all was splendid. MASTER TIP: Just as Antonio Testolin mentioned in these reviews, build yourself a simple little tool that will "push" the rotor off with mechanical force using the caliper mounts. The ol' hammer, heat, pry, swearing trick is way more work. See this YouTube video for the parts I used on my F150 and adapt as necessary for your econobox: https://youtu.be/mtsTJCRljAs My first side took 2 hours with the beating, prying, cursing, and a trip to Lowes.     • Good Replacement for 2013 F-150 4X4
I got these for my 2013 F-150 4X4 Platinum to replace worn pads and rotors. The package arrived 2 days late but the packing was in very good condition. The kit includes very clear instructions and I had no problems with the installation. The break in is the one part of the product that really needs to be called out. The instructions require that you make several fast stops from a moderate speed, keep in mind the location of the work being done so you can safely do this. I live in a low population area so the fast stops were not an issue. When it comes to performance the brakes feel just as nice as the stock brakes did and I have had no issues with regular driving or towing. I would recommend these brakes based on being cheaper than ford replacements and ease of installation. Update: I have had these brakes for about 8 months now and I will say that they are just as good if not better than the OEM brakes. I did a lot of towing over the summer(about 6,000lbs for 5,ooo miles) and not once did the brakes fade or have trouble with the load. They do make a little noise when its cold and wet but that is to be expected. If you are on the fence about using them don't worry it is a good purchase. I have a feeling they will outlast the stock brakes as well. ... show more

Application: 2014 F150 STX Sport. Everything in the box was well packed. extra space was filled with bubble rap. Product was in excellent condition. In the box was 2 Rotors with stickers indicating what side there installed on. 4 carbon fiber ceramic brake pads, also labeled inside and outside. 8 Brake bracket replacement clips. 4 rubber boots for the caliper pins. 1 package of thermal grease for the pins. Located on the brake pad box is the break in instructions. I had no issue installing the front brake kit, did the break in as soon as I finished. I personally love how they look, I have had no issues so far however this is day 1 using the product. update to follow. ... show more

    • Beware of switching Descriptions
I ordered these as the description said: "Power Stop K3167 Front and Rear Z23 Evolution Brake Kit with Drilled/Slotted Rotors and Ceramic Brake Pads" It even still states this in my orders history on Amazon. Much to my surprise it was only the front set of rotors and pads. After further review, as you drill in, the description changes to just Front X23 evolution brake pads. Totally misleading and had I known, I would have ordered something else. The products might be okay, but I will probably be returning them and looking for a full set of brakes. This is the second set of Power Stop brakes I have purchased. I bought a full set of front and rear for my Excursion and this was a front set for my neighbor's Expedition. Without a doubt, these brakes are heads and shoulders above any of the crap you get at your local auto parts store. For years I kept having issues with pulsating brakes on my Excursion which was being caused by the rotors. These Power Stop brakes fixed the issue (as did all the others when new), but have continued to hold up well over time. I would not hesitate to buy these again for any vehicle. As others have said, my boxes were a little beat up when they arrived, but I wasn't concerned and the contents were in great shape and everything worked as promised. These are heavy boxes so I'd expect them to get a bit beat up in transit. ... show more

    • Great rotors and breaks for money
I bought these a little over a year ago for my 2014 F150. I drove up to northern Michigan and back from Pittsburgh Pa, and all around up ther for a week a month after installing. I do occasionally hall and tow light loads. I have about 12k miles on them. The rotors and pads still look great. Inside rotors still look great. Can still sea the zinc coating on them. No pulsing. I don't understand some of the bad reviews an pics people sent in. I'm looking to buy a set for my wifes car now. ... show more

I had 78,000 miles on my factory brakes although mostly highway miles. Someone with a similar truck told me that the power stop parts were cheaper than oem parts from a local discount parts store so I just went ahead and bought the power stops without even checking oem. I am very glad I did, I don't think my braking power has ever been as good. ... show more

Bought these for my 2013 F150, which suffered from steering shake (during braking) and warped rotors after just 33K miles. I had the Power Stop rotors and pads professionally installed and followed the manufacturer break-in suggestions. So far, braking has been noticeably smoother and seems better in wet weather. The pricing for the Power Stop kit was LESS than what the dealer would have charged for Ford OEM replacement parts.
