I had been looking at dimpled rotors for my 02 RSX Type-S when I found this kit on Amazon. The cost of the kit, with the pads included, was less than the cost of the rotors alone from EBC with the advantage of being both drilled and slotted, not just dimpled. The illustration doesn't correctly represent the rotors in the kit. There are only six rows each of the drilled holes and the slots not the double rows of drilled holes as shown. Amazon has just reproduced the same image as shown on the Power Stop web site. This isn't a big deal, but I would have preferred to have seen an accurate depiction. I've had these on my car for several months now and I'm pleased with both the look and the function. One item that bothers me is the amount of brake dust on the wheels. I had ceramic pads on the car and didn't get any dust build-up on the wheels. The pads in the kit are represented as ceramic, but they seem to generate a lot of dust compared to the ones I swapped out. All in all, I'm pleased with this product, but not five star pleased. Update: April 13th. Two weeks after placing my initial review, I'm happy to report that the brake dust issue has resolved itself. The break in period had produced the dust, but in the interviening time they've cleaned up nicely. I've upped the rating from four stars to five. My only regret at this time is that I didn't wait a few weeks to order them. The current price is almost $20 less than I paid. ... show more

Seem to be stopping well, and look great as well. The rotors are labeled for which side they are supposed to go on, which helps if this is your first install for slotted rotors (it makes a difference). No problems with fitment of brake pads or rotors. (2004 RSX Type-S)

This is a great brake kit. Reasonably priced, excellent packaging, fast shipping, and came with everything needed to upgrade my 2004 Acura RSX Type-S: Drilled and slotted rotors, carbon ceramic pads, all retaining clips, boots, etc. Easy installation too. Entire job (including brake fluid flush) took me less than two hours with common hand tools in home garage. After bedding in the new pads, the RSX stops on a dime. Although the OEM brakes were good, Powerstop brakes are great. This is the second upgrade kit I've purchased from Powerstop (first was for wife's Audi A5) and I won't hesitate to buy again. So this was the second time I went with these brakes. I installed my first set around 70k miles and I’m currently at 140k just instilling my second set. I do drive aggressively and hard braking from time to time. Does what I need it to. I personally had to slam my brakes coming up to traffic that was hidden from a curve in the highway. Was just keeping with the flow around 70mph and when hard braking and the abs system the car came safely to a hard stop. Just make sure your calipers are still good. Just be careful where you order them from. -Double check the PowerStop.com website, contact [email protected] to make absolutely - positively sure, you're getting the correct rotors and pads SPECIFICALLY made for your car. The Amazon.com product descriptions are a bit lacking in details so, check with the Manufacturer to confirm that the (K)it matches your vehicle precisely. Also note,... the Amazon.com picture of the product doesn't actually match the product itself,... there are only ( 6 ) strips of holes (4-holes per strip) and, ( 6 ) Slots per rotor. (It looks like a copy & paste 'job on the poster's laziness). . . . This Kit is for the Acura RSX (TYPE-S) only. If you're looking for the Acura RSX (BASE MODEL),... you'll have to order the K2387-26 Kit. I ordered Power Stop kits from Amazon twice, and had to return them twice because the descriptions were wrong. -1) Right Kit, Wrong Car. Amazon's Part Compatibility Search Engine said, the K2441 would fit my RSX (Base). It doesn't :-( -2) Right Kit, Wrong Pads. K2387 comes with Z26 Pads,...
