This brake kit was a perfect fit for my 2011 Honda Civic (Sedan) my front driver side brakes were shot, metal to metal grinding as you can see in the "before" picture, this brake kit comes with the pads, rotors, pin boots, 2 different pad clips sets. small pouch of lubricant, clear instructions, even the pin boots. additionally I also ordered the CTA Tools 1440 Brake Rotor and Drum Removal Tool, 8-Pack of Rotor Screws for Brake Discs - Universal Fit for Honda, Acura, Hyundai and Kia Models - Stainless Steel Retaining Screws for Front and Rear - By Mission Automotive, CRAFTSMAN Hand Impact Driver, 3/8-Inch Set (CMMT14104), CRC Brakleen, and AGS SIL-Glyde Multi-Purpose Weatherproofing Lubricating Compound . most people with well stocked garages will probably have most of those additional items, I am just a DIY that wanted to make sure I had everything, before doing the job. in my case, I did not really need the impact driver, my old screws came off easy enough, but the drum removal tool, was very useful, using some rust penetrant, I evenly and lightly screwed in the tool, then tapped the rotor with a hammer, then tightened a bit more. doing it this way, you won't run the risk of breaking or stripping the threads. ... show more

I found these brakes a few years ago and have never looked back. Once installed they last for at least a year and provide even braking throughout the lifetime of the set. Well everything looks great out of the box I know the pads fit without putting them in yet. The real test will be after they are broken in how ling will the pads last and how much of a difference will I notice when braking. Also how well the rotors hold up in bad weather like rain puddles and hitting them...will the rotors warp??? Can I turn them when I need new pads??? The ridge will tell me that. You can check beck in a year or so unless they don't last that long and I will come back and post that info too! ... show more

    • Fit perfectly in a 2009 Honda Civic EX
12/1/2017 - brake pads finally wore down to the metal. It took 3 years. Started hearing groaning noises when braking. The wear indicators had snapped off around Jan or Feb 2017. Left the rotors as is with no resurfacing or replacement because there was no warping or scoring. Purchased 9/2014 - Review for front brakes on a 2009 Honda Civic EX - My brakes were worn out on the front at 52,000 miles. I replaced them with these and I have been very satisfied. There were no problems with installation and the parts fit exactly as the previous stock OEM's. If you install these pads YOU MUST BREAK THEM IN! The new pads made an unsettling shuddering when I dropped my car and backed out of the driveway, but after about 10 or 15 stops the noise is completely gone and the pads have been fantastic ever since. I do not drive my vehicle on a track and I don't routinely switch about out the brakes so I can't offer a comparison from that viewpoint. In addition, these are stock rotors in 15 inch rims on a Honda Civic so you won't get that Corvette or Viper look. However, I would definitely recommend buying these rather than paying the same amount of money and getting rotors without the cross drill/slots. ... show more

Installed this kit on my 2007 Honda Civic LX sedan. I am not considered a "car guy". I could probably change my oil and maybe change a spark plug and that is as far as I dare go with my car maintenance. After getting a quote of $600 for a brake job, I decided to do the job myself. I found this kit on other websites and found the best price on Amazon. I watched a few YouTube videos on what do do and I was able to do both front rotors and pads in an hour and a half. I followed the break-in procedure and was amazed at how well the new brakes work. I will never pay for someone else to replace my brakes again. The kit was great and the parts are of extremely high quality. I didn't quite follow every direction line by line but everything worked in the end. I reused my old caliper clips as they were in good enough condition. I probably have a little over 1,000 miles on these rotors and pads and they are fantastic. My wife's Highlander will need new brakes soon and I'll definitely use a Power Stop kit again. ... show more
