The kit comes with everything needed including new rubber caliper pin boots. I replaced the calipers also so I didn't need the extra parts but the parts are all OEM quality if needed. Performance after installation is excellent. No noise and a great feel to the brakes. The plating on the rotors makes them look like wristwatch parts. This is a very nice feature if you live in the rust belt where the roads are salted every winter. This is my 5th vehicle retrofit with PS parts and I'll never buy another brand. Slotted rotors are the way to go. Better stopping power and less chance of warping because of less heat. I was jittering to a stop but now stopping is smooth as butter. These installed where the OEM were originally and had zero issues with fit. Now I can slam my breaks on and not feel like the front end is falling apart. ... show more

So far so good breaks stop nice they are heavy duty, I’ll change review if they end up garbage etc. but I’m sure they will be fine. Updating review, I had issues with these or thought I did, my vehicle developed a shutter while stopping I thought for certain it was power stops break rotors warped but upon buying some other new ones from Detroit axle my vehicle did the same thing. It did it after the breaks warm up it don’t stop right. Well I found out by investigating the rear rotors I replaced a year ago but they are just the half inch thick metal for the rest no cooling fins, so the new ones they sell now have cooling fins so they can breathe so I’m guessing people had problems with them because the old style didn’t have the fins now they do it seems. So upon further review I’m pretty sure the rear rotors are warped and power stops stuff is fine given I bought a set from Detroit axle and it acts weird as well. However I don’t like power stops customer service they didn’t seem helpful and seemed to just tell me my calipers are bad and probably warped there rotors instead of investigating snd trouble shooting with me. Maybe I could’ve had less headaches if they had better customer service. I gave them a bad review abs now changing it. ... show more

Power Stop K2009 Front Ceramic Brake Pad and Rotor kit is a great all in one brake replacement kit. Fit perfectly on my 04 Avalanche Z71 and look great to boot. The kit came with everything needed to properly replace and install your front brake pads and rotors. I am an ex-mechanic that was ASE certified in brakes. The rotors were even labeled so that you knew where to put them. I took my time to clean and lube the wheel hubs as well as the brake caliper bracket to make sure everything that is suppose to move does so and to prevent rust jacking. The brake pad kit included the ceramic carbon fiber pads with shims installed, new caliper slide brackets, new rubber bellow boots and bushings for the caliper slide. My only complaint about the kit is that the brake grease packet was broken open inside the box. Luckily the brake pads were covered in plastic which prevented them from becoming contaminated by the grease. But there were some holes in that plastic. I followed the break in procedure using my churches parking lot. The very first brake application was a little rough, but everything has been smooth ever since. They are an improvement over my worn out brakes. Hopefully they will help prevent brake fade while towing my camper. I look forward to seeing how well they hold up and work after getting several thousand miles on them. I will update my review if something changes that I feel needs to be addressed. ... show more

    • Double check these fit your vehicle. Other than that, they are a great upgrade.
We purchased this kit and it arrived quickly. We ordered these for our 2005 Silverado SS and they fit perfectly. But, you should always check the manufacturer's website fitment page to make sure. We checked before purchasing, so were confident that the parts would fit. Most of the problems we saw on the reviews were because they didn't fit the vehicle they were ordered for. If you have a Silverado with rear drums, it is important that you check with the manufacturer's website to be sure you are getting the correct ones. We installed it and everything fit correctly and followed the break in procedure and these brakes work great. It is important that you follow the break in procedure correctly. Having dealt with ceramic brakes before, we knew how critical it is, so were careful to follow the correct procedure. The kit comes with the glides, boots, pads and the proper grease for the bolts. But be aware that if you are going to replace the boots on your caliper bolts, you will want the correct tool to install them, to prevent tearing the boot. It is possible to use a deep socket of the correct diameter, but some parts stores might rent the correct tool to install them. Good quality and a good upgrade.I will be buying this brand again. ... show more
