2009 Silverado fit is perfect and it came with the pad shims for front and another I supposed was rear brake hardware. My truck has rear drum brakes. I’ve used these on Honda Pilot and they’re great so far around 10000 miles and show little wear.

    • POWERSTOP FRONT BRAKES
Powerstop rotors and ceramic brake pads are a great replacement. They have great stopping power and don't squeak or produce a lot of brake dust. This is my second set. The first set got 60,000 miles. The only problem I had was there were no caliper bolt rubber bushings in the set.

I've done many brake jobs but I've never had rotors that didn't actually fit on the wheel hub. 2008 Silverado and ordered the K36 kit. I've actually turned the existing rotors before so I thought, I'll replace the rotors this time. Put on the new rotors, got everything bolted up, test drove the truck and it stopped ok. I thought, great, I'm good to go. I slightly pumped the pedal and the truck makes a terrible lurching and clanking sound. Pulled it back in and found the problem. The rotor was actually moving on the hub. I even put in the beveled lock screw. The noise was the lugs clanking against the rotor. The holes in the rotor were slightly too large. I put back on the old rotors, which luckily were still flat and no noise. Not the best solution but no choice in that moment. I'm amazed these rotors slightly rotate back and forth on the hub and lugs, just enough to create this noise and this lurch. Check the fit before installing the calipers and new pads. ... show more

    • Great rotors / so so pads
I bought these rotors because I was getting pulsing going into winter after pulling my camper this summer. every GM truck I have owned has had rotor issues. So I wanted to go with something that would dissipate more heat. The truck stops much better then it did before. My one complaint is that even though I did the break in procedure (first time in my life) they squeal when coming to a stop. Nice smooth breaking until the last little bit when you let off and it squeals. I am pretty sure that will change as they get worn down or I eventually change them out. ... show more
