I hated Ceramic pads. They were loud, and didn't bite at all when cold, and even when warmed up, didn't have the stopping power of semi-metallic pads. They were great in that they didn't dust though. Then I bought these. They have almost as good bite as a semi-metallic bad, but when they are hot, they bite harder than a semi-metallic pad, and let me tell you, you can STOP like you threw an anchor out the window. So far (Maybe 300 miles on them) they are quiet, and haven't dusted the wheels at all. I will be buying more of these pads for my other vehicles when they need pads. ... show more
