    • Great Pads but Wow has Powerstop Gone Downhill

This brand has been my go to for years, great performance at a reasonable price. The last 3 sets I've purchased have all had minor issues. The pads themselves are still great...so far. This set they left out the brake grease. I have my own so no issue with install, just lack of oversight by Powerstop. The set before this was for a Honda CRV - hardware didn't fit, rubbed against rotor. I reused the old hardware but serious design issues here. Finally, I purchased their beautiful rotors but mine were not so beautiful - large black streaks in the anodize coating. Yes, not performance effecting but serious lack of quality control. These should have been "seconds." Great pads still, hope that doesn't change. Not sure if I'll purchase again. ... show more

The brakes I received must be an upgraded model. They have 2 grooves unlike the one in picture. I had Detroit axle pads and reinstalled them 3 times trying to stop squealing. They wouldn't stop. Bought and slapped these one...bingo...dead silent stopping now. They stop quicker with less pressure too! Work great with my drilled and slotted rotors. I'll be staying with power stops from now on. Excellent quality pads and little to no dust on my rims now. Check these pads out! Good stuff! ... show more
