  • Great set of brake pads
Style: Ceramic
Installed about 3500 miles ago. Fit just as oem and no noise using existing rotors that were not resurfaced. Brake pedal feels great, much less brake dust then previous brand used. A great price and so far I'm very pleased

  • Upgrading stock brakes to heavy duty.
Style: Truck & Tow
Easy to install. Decent price. Came with burn in instructions, which is unusual but would be helpful to those who may not know. Moved to the hills and it's killing stock fronts. I'll try these paired with heavy duty, zinc coated rotors. Staying away from drilled/slotted ones due to N.Y. salt. Really nice so far. ... show more

  • Good pads for the price
Style: Ceramic
I drive in brutal traffic stop and go is the norm. I have these installed on a 17 Yukon xl and they have performed well, I installed them myself about a month ago, and broke them in as instructed. And so far no complaints braking is smooth and predictable no noise, little dust, and feel just good as the stock pads. I would recommend these pads. If anything changes I will update this review. ... show more

  • Works great- long break -i'm very satisfied.
Style: Truck & Tow
Bought these for a Chevy Silverado with 72,000 miles First brake pad change. Took a gamble on these pads and also bought drilled and slotted rotors also from Amazon. To be clear ,bought these pads for both front and rear. When I first put them on they were better than original equipment. Just slightly better . Noticeable for sure but not dramatic. But the real surprise came after about 3- 4,000 miles . Brakes have dramatically become better. Stops better thru the range of driving conditions. Slow speed braking and faster speed braking is just way better. I've been a mechanic for years and never saw a break in like this. I'm thoroughly pleased and would buy them again. Haven't towed with them yet. Will update when that happens. ... show more

  • So far so good
Style: Truck & Tow
I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 4x4. I have never used Power Stop products before but bought these brake pads based on reviews and opinions of others I know who had. The package arrived in good nick and included an assortment of pad clips and a very small packet of lubricant. Replacement is pretty straight forward with no issues. These pads have tight tolerances so using a wire brush or electric wire wheel, ensure you thoroughly clean the slots and lube the clips on the caliper that the tabs sit in otherwise you may have difficulty getting the pads to seat correctly and/or they may bind. As I said, the kit comes with a small packet of lubricant. However, it is nowhere near enough to lube the guide pins and required contact points. I prefer to use Permatex Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant for this purpose. I have driven about 2,300 miles since the installation and the pads have worked well with good braking performance. NOTE, for optimum braking performance, it is important to bed new brake pads. Bedding brake pads allow new friction material on the pad to properly wear-in and the pad to match the profile of the rotor surface increasing contact and maximizing the braking performance. Find a stretch of road where you can conduct this procedure safely and legally. Accelerate the vehicle to 35 MPH and apply moderate brake pressure reducing your speed to under 5 MPH. Repeat this process 3 times. Next, increase speed to 50 MPH and strongly reduce speed down to 5 MPH. Ensure you don’t brake hard enough to activate the ABS or lock up the tires. You should be able to slow to 5 MPH within a few seconds. Repeat this process 4 times. IMPORTANT: DO NOT make hard high-speed stops during the bedding process, as it may cause the new friction material to overheat or glaze and possibly damage the rotors. Continue driving an additional 1-2 miles while very lightly braking to cool down the brakes. You will want to avoid heavy braking at this time so try to take a route home with minimal traffic lights or stop signs. Park the vehicle and allow the brakes to fully cool for an hour. ... show more

  • Soft during break-in but settles in nice

2017 Escalade ESV 85k miles. Replaced pads at 60k with OEM "dustless" which were more like "worthless". Dusty and squeaky GM OEM. got 10k miles out of em. they were replaced under warranty at 2500 miles. by the dealer. I decided to cut my losses and do some research, to find these. I've put about 1k on em and overall impressed. limited dust, no noise, break-in was easy, overall very worthwhile. time will tell, but id buy em again. ... show more
