  • No BMS Access (Duh!!, because there’s no bluetooth)
Size: 12.8V 100Ah
I just installed them in my RV., which was a breeze, as opposed to the removal of the very heavy AGM batteries these Power Queen LiFePo batteries were replacing. However, I am unable access the BMS through bluetooth via the Power Queen app. And, there were no instructions in the user guide. A representative from Power Queen sent a post-delivery email, with a link to some FAQs, which did contain a procedure to access the BMS. But, still, no luck after following that procedure. I will have to resort to some alternative monitoring method or tool. The batteries do appear to be operating normally from I have observed, so far. Will test them out this weekend. UPDATE: After further research/reading, I probably purchased the non-bluetooth batteries (which explains the price difference vs a bluetooth model. And, probably something I missed reading through the product description). Bluetooth battery monitor w/shunt needed at this point, so, looking into those, now. Will update again, when I can better monitor battery performance. UPDATE 2: Rating upgraded , since my batteries did not come with bluetooth. Batteries holding up, so far, in the short time that I’ve been running them. Will be installing bluetooth monitor to get more specific performance and status data. Thanks Power Queen for the support!! ... show more

  • Power Queen batteries or exceptionally, good and customer service is phenomenal
Size: Group 31-2 Pack
I purchased these batteries and then 1 day they were completely dead. I message the manufacturer and they sold me a charger. They were willing 2 refund my money for the charger. But it worked really good charge the batteries up. I was really impressed with that. Their customer service is outstanding and I would purchase batteries from them again and again. ... show more

  • Best customer support ever!
Size: Group 31-2 Pack
I didn't want to give less stars for my mistake. These batteries are great. I started with 2 used Power Queen batteries from a friend. I purchased these to add a new solar array on a van. Be sure you read the description and know what you want. If you want a battery with Bluetooth, make sure you order one with Bluetooth. I was excited to be able to get new equipment I never checked. Not a deal-breaker by any means. You would just have to add a monitor. Safe and light weight and much more resilient than lead acid batteries. Now shop wisely because there are cheaper batteries out there, and the BMS in those batteries are cheap and if you make a mistake you will render the battery unless. Power Queen will contact you and support you whenever you need them. They stand behind their products. Battery group size are the same size as lead acid batteries so be mindful of your space. Follow all directions before you do anything after receiving them and before adding to your system. ... show more

  • Batteries Charging Normally
Size: Group 31-2 Pack
These are installed on my new emergency home solar power station. When I received the batteries the charge was 13.3 on both of them. I have another station built with a different LiFeP04 battery which I used at 1st to start up and check the system. That battery charges faster and the charge reaches 14.4v during the day. I've never been able to get the Power Queen's past 13.7v plus the voltage drops fast. I have a Lithium battery charger that I used on both batteries separately to fully charge and sync them. I let them sit hooked in parallel for 12 hours before hooking them up to the system. I'm no expert on solar batteries so I'm not sure if this is all OK. I do know that in the old Power Queen users guide had a chart showing that 13.5 is a full charge as seen on YouTube reviews. Why did that cut that page out?, I'm not sure . The lowest voltage has been 12.6 v hooked up to my inverter with the freezer plugged in. So I'm not sure if these are working properly. Only time will tell if they will be good. Update; The batteries never reach full charge according to both my battery charge status gauges. 3/4 is the best @ 13.7v under charge is the best I can get. The batteries are discharging as they are plugged into my Solar Power Board/Inverter and Freezer. I've been helping them in the morning by plugging into my charger. They run down to 12.6v at night and recharge to 13.7v at peak PV charging hours. So, I'm still not sure about them. Update2: Batteries seem to be charging better. They reached full charge 2 days over the weeked with my battery status gauges both at 4 bars. They are holding at 13.3 overnight at rest with the inverter shut off. I'm still concerned about them not hitting 14.4v while charging. Are they waking up? I don't know... Update3; The batteries are now charging normally hitting 14.5v under charge and resting at 13.3v. I can't tell you why. Whatever was preventing them from charging correctly has fixed itself with daily charge cycles. Its taken a couple of weeks for this to sort itself out... ... show more

  • Battery Failed and Warranty is Worthless
Size: 12.8V 100Ah
Power Queen 100ah battery failed at 25 months and the 5yr warranty is worthless. They do not support their products or the customers. They told me to pay them $130 plus shipping to replace their failed battery, so I purchased another brand for $129. They advertise this as being a premium product, but that is not true. Do yourself a favor and try a different brand. ... show more
