  • Short Circuit Finder for Continuity Testing - Have you ever faced issues like headlights not turning on, power windows malfunctioning, or the cigarette lighter not workingwith no idea what's causing it? This multifunctional automotive circuit tester helps you accurately diagnose common electrical faults such as short circuits, open circuits, bad grounding, and abnormal voltage. It quickly pinpoints the problem area without the need for repeated disassembly. You can also test whether parts are properly powered, saving time and effort during repairs.
  • Test Light- Equipped with a backlit high-definition LCD screen, it provides real-time and accurate voltage readings with a margin of error as low as 0.2Vmaking even small voltage fluctuations easy to detect. The built-in LED light allows for hassle-free testing in dark environments or tight spaces, so you're never limited by poor lighting.
  • Fuse & Voltage Tester - Even if you have zero experience with car repairs, you can get started quickly: Connect the red clip to the batterys positive terminal and the black clip to the negative. Once powered on, the voltage value will instantly appear. Simply touch the probe to a circuit point to check continuity, voltage status, and polarity. If an overload is detected, the buzzer will sound immediately to alert youhelping protect both your battery and the tester.
  • Multifunctional Car Circuit Tester Reach Anywhere in Your Vehicle - With a 14.7ft flexible extension cord, you can reach the front engine bay or rear trunk with easetest multiple areas without repositioning your battery connections.
  • From DIY to Pro Mechanics - Wide Compatible with 6V36V DC systems, its ideal for cars, pickups, motorcycles, trucks, boats, and more. Whether youre a hands-on DIY car owner or a professional mechanic, this tool will upgrade your workflow.

Description

Easy-to-use and accurate car circuit tester efficiently checks electrical systems, continuity, circuit breakers, polarity, components, and voltage. Convenient for testing and repairing in a dark place. When the positive and negative poles are connected incorrectly, a warning sound will be emitted. Easily test voltages in the range of 3.5 V to 36 V and display the values on the screen The tester's probe checks the car's contact polarity without a key press: red LED for positive, green for negative. Press 'Up' to connect the probe to the positive '+' power supply; press 'Down' to connect the probe to the negative '-' power supply. Designed to pierce wire easily and access tight areas, ensuring accurate results. Clamp the input power when in use.

  • Budget alternative to a Power Probe
Color: Red
This tool is a $16 somewhat-clone of the Power Probe. You connect it to the vehicle's battery or other power source and it will tell you the voltage and allow you to connect the metal pin on the end of the probe to either power or ground. That allows you to feed system voltage into the circuit or connect a hot circuit to ground. There are a few more features (color-coded LEDs that indicate power or ground on the circuit being tested) but they're easy enough to figure out so I won't bore you with the details. Nothing in my garage is broken right now so I tested this with a spare car battery and a headlight. It works exactly as expected-- I could feed the headlight power if it was grounded, or I could connect it to ground if it was being fed power. Either would cause it to light up. Simple. The current limit on the probe is 8 amps so it will energize the control side of most power circuits, but it may overload on something like a fuel pump. It has some sort of overload protection (and a buzzer that sounds when the threshold is exceeded) but I'm not sure if it uses a fuse or a circuit breaker. I'll probably take it apart soon to find out. My preference would be a self-resetting circuit breaker, but no matter what it is I wouldn't count on it too much. 8 amps is still a fair amount of current and it will do some damage if connected to the wrong circuit, so be careful. Do you need this tool? Absolutely not. You can do everything that this tester does with an inexpensive voltmeter and a pair of jumper wires, which you should already have if you're doing any sort of electrical diagnosis on an automobile. And if you're a professional mechanic and you do a LOT of electrical testing, you might be better off spending the money for an actual Power Probe, which will most likely be more durable. Where this thing really shines is for people like me-- someone that can do more than just basic diagnosis but who cannot justify the almost-$300 price tag of a Power Probe. Instead of trying to mess with connecting and disconnecting jumpers, I can connect this thing to the car's battery and test power, ground, and individual components in seconds. This thing is FAST if you know what you're doing. If you're a serious DIYer or an apprentice technician and you have a good handle on when and how to use a test light and a voltmeter, this tool is perfect for you. It does a good job and at $16 it is a FANTASTIC bang for the buck. If you learn to use it, you'll save tons of time diagnosing power circuits and doing component tests. ... show more

  • Handy diagnostic tool for DIY automotive electric work
Color: B1
Does what it says on the tin -- plug the device into a space on your car's fuse panel, be sure to insert the correct fuse into the device's holder so you have overcurrent protection for the circuit you are testing, and then the meter sits in series with the circuit so you can read current flow. Direct, accurate and foolproof method for measuring current flow on an electrical circuit in a car. Seems accurate enough for my purposes. There are plenty of scenarios where this is a very useful diagnostic capability. One scenario particularly useful to the average motorist is hunting down vampire loads. Do you have a somewhat older car whose battery drains down after sitting idle for only 4-5 days? Do you replace your car's battery every year or two even though a decent battery should last 5+ years? There is a good chance there is an unexpected vampire load on one of your circuits, drawing down the battery even when the car is off. For example, a faulty switch might keep your trunk light or glove box light on continuously, even when the lid is closed. You'd never even see it. Or a fault in your sound-system amplifier that causes a continuous current draw even when the radio appears off. This tool will help you isolate and diagnose such problems quickly and with certainty. ... show more
