Great dumbbell rack. Well made. I bought this rack because of the small footprint because I don’t have a lot of room. Unit was packed good although the styrofoam was not in proper place when i unboxed it. No damage to any of the parts. One small complaint is one washer was not the correct size. I put auto door edge trim along the top shelf angles because smaller weight handles rest on angle bars not on the flats. ... show more

I got the Lmdex dumbbell rack to replace a much less substantial rack with only two tiers that took up about the same amount of space. Here in the beginning, know I am very impressed with this new rack. Make sure you have someone to help you move this Lmdex rack into the general area where you are going to assemble it. It is quite heavy. Of course, if you're working out maybe you can do this yourself, ha ha. Don't hurt yourself. The metal they used in constructing this is not to a metal that will be easily bent so therefore it is heavy. Assembly is easy. Maybe a tad more detail on the instructions would have been nice... like, "install rubber bottom feet before you put any of this together" and "don't tighten the bolts till the end or else you won't get them all seated in the holes correctly" and "use a socket wrench XX mm or 5/8 inch for bolts" (I didn't have a mm socket available) and "assemble in place so you don't have to move this heavy moose again." These are minor complaints and probably added 10 minutes to my install time. Otherwise it would've gone together in the amount of time it takes to tighten the 12 bolts. No big deal. This rack holds a lot of stuff! As you can see from the photo, I am using it for more than just dumbbells. It basically finished off my home workout area. It is also significantly better because the bottom tier is high enough my Roomba can get under it. The old one was too low for the Roomba to get under it so cleaning behind it was a pain. The welds on this are solid and neat. They did not give this to a noob to weld up (it irritates me terribly when companies do that and send sloppily welded items out). I'm not sure if the finish is powder coating or paint, but it is a good looking and seemingly durable finish. I scratched it during assembly and the scratch actually wiped off. No bolts so can't assemble. Tried to request missing bolts be sent but went round in circles trying to connect with a live person. Wasted so much time. Frustrating! I guess my only option is to return the product.

This is a must when it comes to dumbbell organization. I've been collecting adjustable and fixed dumbbell sets since the beginning of COVID and needed an extra organizer. To my surprise, this one is much lighter than the version I bought from a well-known Amazon vendor and was easier to assemble. Despite its weight, this rack feels sturdy and has been supporting my 1-55 lbs dumbbell pairs. Another plus is that the dumbbell racks is designed in a way that prevents the weights from falling out.
