Unit works great so far. Only had a few weeks but did a 1k mile weekend trip and stereo and apply car play worked great. The unit looks really nice many think it’s factory. Install was also pretty easy once you get fairing off and remove old unit, this fit my 17 Electra glide perfectly. Truly just plugged it in… handlebar controls work! Only been a couple weeks so will see about longevity but immediate reaction is well worth it!

Wow what a difference on my ‘14 Triglide! The factory radio was eh, good for gps, but hard to see. What was worse was that the factory radio would loop the same 10 songs from Apple Music over and over and over. Not this bad boy! I paired this unit with a wireless Apple CarPlay dongle via the built in USB port and I’m now able to keep my phone in the trunk to charge because this unit perfectly and seamlessly pairs with and mirrors my phone each and every time reliably. Not to mention, it was literally plug and play into the original factory wiring harness and all of my handlebar controls still work!! If you have an older Harley that this unit is compatible with, it’s the best $399 you will spend on your bike. Period!

You get what you pay for. You lose some functionality but $400-1000 cheaper than other options for CarPlay on a ‘14 and up touring. Slightly clearer sound but lower volume than stock

Was extremely easy to install and sounds a ton better than the stock garbage unit on my 2016 Road Glide. Hooks up to bluetooth much fast too. EQ adjustments makes all the difference on sound. Price is nice compared to other like units. I have the complete Rockford Fosgate system with front and bag lid speakers with two 10" subs in the bags.

Installation wasn't great. If this is designed for HD touring models it shouldn't have variable screw holes. It made putting the top plate on a real hassle. After I got the top plate on I realized this was not a true plug and play radio. If I wanted the USB connection for the CarPlay or Android Auto I would have had to drill a hole in my fairing as the radio did not have a provision for the bike's stock USB connection. This isn't the worst part yet. After I had the radio secured and power connected to it I powered on the bike. The over-the-air radio worked just fine. However, I could not get the Bluetooth to connect to my phone at all. I work in the IT field so I did everything in my power to get that working all to no avail. Then I tried the CarPlay. It would connect for a split second and then go back to the OTA radio. Overall, I would not recommend this radio to any one for any reason.
