We love this couch!
This couch is fabulous. We were looking for something very specific - we wanted a sectional with the right kind of material (fabric, not leather), right kind of look (modern), right color (blackish/blueish/gray), the right size/shape (longer on the left, shorter on the right), and the right price (under $1,000) and this checked all those boxes. Originally it was going to take a month to get to us, but the delivery date got moved up by two weeks and we were thrilled! And it is COMFORTABLE. I was worried about ordering such an important piece of furniture online because we wouldn't get to try it out, but this was worth the risk. The cushions are firm but not too firm, and they're nice and wide. Totally wouldn't feel embarrassed to offer this couch to overnight guests. The only negative thing: we have cats, and they've already taken to it - on the positive side, it looks like it may actually hold up to their scratching fairly well due to the thickness of the fabric (we'll see with time, though). Haven't noticed much of an issue with it picking up lint or pet fur though, as other customers have reported. Because of the price, I was so worried that this couch would be a POS, but it's absolutely not. Highly recommended! UPDATE after almost 2 yrs: Okay, so our cats have completely destroyed this couch, which is super sad because it looked sooooo good for the first 6 months or so. I’m tempted to buy it again because the price is so good, but we still have the cats, so that might be silly. Also, it does pick up cat hair and lint very easily which is difficult to fully remove, even with link rollers.

Great value; accurate color; assembly takes some work
Have only had the couch a short period of time, and I will try to remember to update this in 6-12 months to opine on the quality over time. HOWEVER, first impressions are great. ***UPDATE*** Couch has held up great! Zero breakage. Girlfriend's small dog who has a habit of clawing at things hasn't manged to tear the cloth at all. Cushions are comfy. I nap on it lots. All-in-all a great purchase. -----General----- Comfortable cushions, more firm than your typical cheap couch and seem like they will break in well. Size seems very slightly smaller than the advertised dimensions, definitely not larger. Color is spot on to the photos - Ash Black is basically a shade of darker gray. When properly put together there are no issues with the parts aligning and it feels solid when moved around. -----Assembly & Assembly Tips----- Not the easiest. I literally had to take a shower after fighting with this thing for about 45 minutes. Managed to put the legs and backs on by myself, but enlisted a 2nd person to help connect the two large sections. There are many reviews complaining about the backs popping off when leaned on, or the 2 large pieces attaching at a slightly different levels, or legs not being the same size. I also ran into each of these issues as I put it together, but all were 100% CORRECTED WHEN ASSEMBLED CORRECTLY. I cannot emphasize this enough. You need to quality check yourself as you go or these problems will happen to you. I have no doubt those comments are from people who have some parts wrong in their assembly. --Legs-- The legs are the easiest part (DO THEM FIRST), but it is still possible to mess up. First and foremost you need to ensure you have tightened all of the wood legs to the same intensity in order for them to all sit at an equal height. I found this easiest to do by tightening the legs COMPLETELY, to the point where there is NO WAY you could make another full revolution of the leg and still line up the screw hole. This led to them all being an equal height. It is easier to turn some legs than others, so I understand how one would stop once they seemed tight enough, but you need to make sure you turn them until there is just no way you can make another revolution. You will know what I mean. --Back & Bottom Connection-- The 'male-female' vertical slider joints (1 male, 1 female per slider- 2 sliders section - 4 sliders total) that hold the back to the bottom for each large section are pretty difficult to get correctly into place. It is very deceptive, and it will 'feel' like you have them on correctly, but in reality only one ridge of the slider may be in place. This leads to the back popping off when you lean back. Due to the cushioning is also difficult to visibly see if you have both ridges of the top/back part of the slider correctly inserted into the bottom/seat part of the slider. I ended up using the camera + flash function on my phone to take a video basically inside the couch to confirm if I had the male-female slider correctly lined up. I found at least 4-5 times that it felt like the slider was together, but I only got one edge. This needs to be perfect or you will run into issues. It also seems like the backs are very slightly shorter than they should be (to make sure it is a tight/tension fit, so you sorta need to squeeze each side/arms towards the other section in order to make a correct connection. Then make sure you push the backs ALL THE WAY down. Quality check: If you can't lean against the back without it popping out, or if the lower edge of backs are not completely flush & level with the bottom of the couch - you’re going to have to try again. --Connecting the Sections-- Use your lifeline and phone a friend. My goodness this was impossible on my own. We ended up bracing the 'love seat with wedge' part against a wall, one person pushing the 'couch' section towards the loveseat from one side, and then the other person applying downward pressure on the 'loveseat with wedge' section to click the metal clasps into place. We did run into the issue where the backs initially did not align at the same height, but with more force applied to push the pieces closer together, and a few strong downward presses it eventually popped into place. All in all, great value. Looks great, no weird chemical smell, pretty solid once it’s all together. Just expect some more difficult assembly. And if you don't have a rug, buy some rubber 'non-slip' stick on's at your local hardware store to put on the bottoms of the legs to prevent it from sliding around. Feels much nicer with those on. Peace

Beautiful, comfortable, and so far: durable
This couch is beautiful! It is a gorgeous muted teal color; the pictures don't really do it any justice. The fabric is woven material, up close it looks like the weaving of a burlap sac for lack of a better term, but its very soft and pleasant to the touch and seems to be a pretty durable material. The cushions do not come off, but for some people that's not a bad thing; myself included. Also worthy of noting: I have a 175 lbs Irish Wolfhound who is the biggest lap dog around and he seems to like this sofa as well as it is his frequent napping spot. After a couple of months I have yet to see any down sides to this couch or any noticeable wear. The cushions were firm, but comfortable, since day one and continue to be, even with relatively frequent use and the aforementioned large dog napping situation. It regularly gets compliments from my guests, and works really well as a living room centerpiece to base the rest of my decor off of. If you're on the fence, I say go for it, I did and I do not regret it at all.

I hesitated to purchase furniture online for a long time but because I couldn't find the style I liked locally I decided to risk it and I'm glad I did. This one is pretty well made for an $800 sectional. Fabric is of good quality, cushions are firm but comfortable (exactly what I was hoping for). I understand people's frustration about the color, it is nothing like the photo but I already knew it reading many reviews on other vendor websites. It is more seafoam green than teal, lighter, really pretty if you ask me. Simple lines, mid century modern inspired, good fit in my living room. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Amazing Price & Beautiful Sofa
UPDATE: I’ve had this couch for almost a year and two cushions have had the springs break and they are like flat. It’s not like we’re jumping on the couch or anything so this is pretty annoying. I wish I would have gotten a different couch. I found this couch on Wayfair for $900 and it was only $640 on amazon!!! It’s exactly what I was hoping for. Comfy and beautiful. There are black support legs that are hidden but keep the couch sturdy. Dog hair does stick to it pretty easily, but just brushing it off or vacuuming it does the trick. Definitely takes some dedication. If you’re looking for something chic and modern this is it!
