This thing is Crazy fun! Two speeds and pretty good charges. It almost seems alive!

This toy is a freak
Color: Orange
I was cat sitting for a friend and grabbed this thing for her cat to play with. The moment I saw it move I ordered one for my own cats. Its movement is rather violent. It whirs loudly and slams into walls and furniture. It’s also fast and can get itself airborne without much difficulty when it encounters the proper environmental obstacles. Needless to say it’s absolutely irresistible for every cat I’ve run it with including my gluttonous and disinterested housecat. She won’t even chase laser pointers or cockroaches for longer than 20 seconds. This little psycho will be chased until it shuts off. She will even sprint after it. I’ve never seen this animal move so fast before in my life. I didn’t think it was physically possible. The diet she’s been on for the last 3 years isn’t going well so I guess we’re going to try a Rocky training montage. My speaker is ready

Fun while it works
Color: Orange
We knew (from reading other reviews) that the battery wouldn't live long, but it's cheap enough. Got our cat interested, though all she does is crouch and watch it. Intently until it stops, maybe 10 minutes? We have recharged it maybe two or three times, initially each charge was good for a few 10-minute plays, going super fast (too fast for our cat, she didn't really want to get too close). Now it works for less time and in super slow move (which actually is better). It's dying a slow death.

Great, but...
Color: Orange
First, make sure your floors are dust-free, because the spinning ball picks up dust and cat hair and stops working until you unclog it. I found the charge lasts longer than my cat's attention span, so that's a plus. I'm on my second one, as the first stopped working after a few weeks. The price of this toy is theoretically good if only #1 had lasted longer.

My cat goes nuts for this
Color: Orange
My four month old kitten goes absolutely crazy for this toy, when it shuts off automatically if she leaves it alone she comes to me and cries and then runs to it and swats it so I turn it back on. Put it on the faster motion and she chases it ballistically as if she's on double catnip LOL really attracts her, the dog is interested too but I don't want him to chew it up. Very very low noise level you barely hear it but just enough sound that you can find it if it goes under something. Not suitable for dogs. Keeps her engaged. I'm not sure about the battery life because if she leaves it alone 5 minutes it shuts off so I could come back and comment on that later.

DON'T BUY SAVE UR MONEY
Color: Orange
My cat really enjoys it, but he's let down as the battery charge only lasts 5 minutes or less after about 2 days of use, and the catch that holds the lil toy also broke. Very disappointed, on top of that I'm disabled, don't drive so I can't drop it off for free as a return, to have it picked up, the charge is $7.99 so I'm still getting ripped off, I hate Amazon returns for disabled people and I should've gotten it from Walmart. Don't buy, save your money or if like me, don't drive, get it on Walmart, price difference are pennies and Walmart honors the membership holders with free returns of different options.

the green feather tail gets stuck and stops the ball from moving. not a great design. the clip could be improved. i did substitute another hook for the tail, but eventually i took the tail off and use the ball itself. because of this boots still loves playing with it...well chasing it. good value boots is attracted to the toy minus the feather tail
