The tattoo gun itself, and the two battery packs look and feel solid and reliable. They go together easily, and are very comfortable to hold. My hand felt well isolated from the vibration. The needle cartridges look good. They come individually sealed in strips of 10 of each type, but I was surprised to find they didn't readily separate--as in there weren't perforations between the needle blisters. I had to cut them separate from the strip, or leave them attached when I peeled open the blister to get the cartridge. They worked well when I tested them on some practice skins. I did find it curious that the instructions specify the ink is good for practice but shouldn't be used on human skin.

This is a great starter kit. It comes with every thing to start you out more then most others at a great price. The machine amd 2 battery packs work great for small to medium size needle groupings. They run very smooth and are very comfortable. Size is not to big amd is managable when equipped with battery on top. The grip is smooth and has proper depth control alignment so you can get a long or short needle hang. It's nice that they are now putting the ink in sealed blister packs. Very nice setup for blended color work and black amd grey. Posiden is knocking it out of the park with these budget kits. Makes for a nice backup set as well if you have expensive machines like I do.

Very nice tattoo machine! Works well, minimal vibration producing steady solid lining. The dual batteries are awesome so you can finish any piece you are working on with minimal battery swaps and a battery always on standby to prevent interruptions. Overall, a great quality little machine!

Full disclosure: I know nothing about tattoo guns or kits. I got this for my young son, who's wanting to get into creating tattoos when he's older. I thought this would be a good beginner bundle for that and it is. He's having fun experimenting. When he gets better, I'll invest in a more high end kit.
