For the price, this is a great deal for a kit that does quite a lot. Best for beginners who aren't fiddling around with stroke lengths. It has power to line and shade most needle sizes needed for small to palm sized tattoos. This means it runs nicely with 5 or 7 round liners and shaders and small needle count mags. The machine itself is quite tiny, but the battery is large in comparison. The machine diameter is small, shape is angular. Not the most comfortable due to the angles, but can be wrapped up so shape can be neglected. The batter being larger than the machine itself is a bit awkward, but fortunately the battery isn't heavy. Balance is workable. The biggest issue with the machine itself is the needle hang adjustment will not let the needle hang out by very much, even at the maximum setting. It is doable though, but I pretty much have the machine set to max length with all the needles I have tried. Other accessories are good. The ink has a lot of pigments, but is more viscus than I like or what I find ideal. This means it is thick, and I had to dilute the ink slightly, but fortunately there is a high pigment concentration so it does not affect outcome by much. Very good for practicing on fake skin. Personally, the ink set is something I would limit to practicing on fake skin with, but that's just me. The skin included is more red in color than others on the market. Corners are cut straight instead of curved, but it is 3 mm in thickness, which I find ideal for beginners to practice on. Overall, a really nice kit for beginners. Good machine, much better than you would expect for the price.

This tattoo pen kit seems to be ok. The pen is rather thin as far as the diameter of the pen goes. I prefer something larger, but it does look to be made out of metal. The batteries are using the older RCA connection which is a bit of a surprise for me. Most modern pen have moved on contact type batteries. Should still work and there is a pretty modern display. The pen work well and the battery seems to be secure. There was no noticeable looseness. The vibration was rather low which is a good thing and so was the noise. This kit come with lots of extras which seems to be the standard fair for kits like this these days. The extras are average at best. The gloves that comes in these kits are something that I don't use as I have way better. The inks are for practice skin only. Never use these on skin as you want quality inks for that. The other supplies are on par with what is usually in kit like this. Will see how well this works over time. Will update if anything happens.
