This machine feels solid! I like that the kit is more complete than others it competes with. You get the typical stuff, but Poseidon gives you a mix of both liners and shaders. You get two 2300 mAh batteries which connect magnetically and they both arrive fully charged. The ink that included is enough for practice and it’s a nice touch that you get a dual tipped skin scribe marker w/ both a fine and broad nib. All accessories include wide grip, tape, small bag of both small and large in caps, gloves, stencil, paper sheets, and dental bibs. The machine feels sturdy and well built with noticeable weight in the hand, which gives it a professional grade feel. The knurled grip is thick and textured for excellent control. The vibration on this is nearly nonexistent, even at higher voltages. the machine runs quiet and smooth. The motor feel strong and reliable, making it a powerful machine for both lining and shading. Overall, I think this is one solid kit and definitely worth the money.

I have used Poseidon cartridges in the past so was familiar with the brand but never tried their machines. I am actually pleasantly surprised with a few small criticisms. The overall grip is a bit thicker and nicely tapered which perfectly fits my hand. I didn't have to use much grip tape at all to get it how I wanted out of the box. The motor is also strong and steady and even doing some tests on fake skin where I buried a mag much deeper than you ever would in real skin it hummed along. My small criticisms are the stroke adjustment rotates the opposite direction than all my other machines so I just need to make a note to double check, but you should quickly tell if it isn't striking like you expect. I also don't like the "fancier" screens/batteries with all the memory modes etc... Just give me a simple increasing or decreasing voltage menu that works and leave good enough alone. But neither of these affect the actual performance of the machine so can't dock any starts as it's personal preference.

This Poseidon Wireless Tattoo Kit comes with everything you need to start learning how to tattoo. The kit comes with everything as advertised, including ink, needles, ink cups, fake skin, a pair of black gloves, transfer paper, black grip tape, and an extra battery. The motor is strong and the battery seem very long lasting. The body of the pen is thick with an ergonomic design. It also has a large LCD display that is easy to read. But, the most amazing feature of this pen is the ability to adjust among 7 different strokes lengths ranging from 2.0mm to 4.2mm. The cartridges are pretty good and get the job done. I like that this kit comes with everything you need to start practicing right away. This Poseidon Wireless Tattoo set is definitely a great kit especially for any aspiring tattoo artist.

You get everything that you need to get started for the current price of $89.99 which I feel is a fair value. The tattoo set is a nice quality set and functions as it should. I like that you have practice skin that you can practice on so you get a feel for the tattoo gun and get to try out your skills prior to tattooing on a person. Having two batteries are also nice in case you are in the middle of a big project so you have one to switch out with.
