I got this paddle to replace the stock one that came with my pelican kayak. This was a huge upgrade from the one I had. My only complaint is that the grips on the paddle were all bubbled up and I had to remove them. So, I haver this paddle on my Xmas list. My wife makes the purchase and I get it at Xmas Day. I don't open the box, because it's winter. When I do finally open the box to get ready for my Kayak trip, I find I have been sent 2 right paddles. So not only will they not join in the middle, but I couldn't have used them anyway. I contact the company or place that filled this order. Never got a response. So what the heck, I go ahead and purchase it again because I really wanted this paddle. This time I got the right & the left paddle. Yay !! only now I still have 2 right side paddles I can do nothing with and wasted $$. I know accidents happen, but to just ignore it? Well, there ya go.
