I remodeled two bathrooms and a third one is being remodeled. I bought one shower only and one shower/tub (and a third shower/tub - which will be returned). The water pressure coming from the fixture could be a little stronger - keep in mind, before changing the unit the pressure was great and I had the low flow device removed (our secret lol)... it's okay but I would prefer if it were a bit stronger on both units I purchased. For the unit that including the tub piece, my contractor had to come back out and remove a mechanism from the valve (little red piece). He could not adjust the water temperature without removing this piece BUT the water would not get hot with this piece left in place. So, if you have kids, this would be good as the water will only get warm. I ordered the third before discovering these issues so I am now returning that unit and choosing a different item for the third bathroom. I preferred matching fixtures in my bathrooms BUT the water pressure and hot water issue are too big for me to ignore. It does look nice though and the price was good. Consider splurging on a slightly better item if you're doing a remodel - this is a regret I have since these are not easily replaced. ... show more

This item functions as stated, but the valve is not of good quality, at least not the one I got. I had it installed about 2 months ago. Whenever we turn water on anywhere in the house, it would vibrate, kind of pop. I thought it was a water hammer issue and after securing pipes around it and installing water hammer arrestors, I had to call in the plumber. They concluded it was the valve. Replaced it with another brand. Problem solved $400 later. Too late to return it because I ordered it 2 months ahead of the bathroom remodel and it only has a 30 day return policy. Oh well...my lost. Follow up...They contacted me and refunded my purchase, but still out $400 for plumber. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a full, new construction installation set, for the complete shower system. It is perfectly made, with the best quality components. I can easily see this system going into the finest newly constructed custom homes. The mixer is solid brass with polished ball valves in durable nylon seats, tabbed for simple installation. The mounting hardware for the mixer valve is included. Here's something you don't see every day... Each of the finely finished brushed stainless steel finish fixture components are individually packaged in their own bag, to prevent scratches or damage. They even include a pair of white cotton gloves for installing the finish components!!! And (this part I really like) the flow restrictor is included, but NOT already installed. We don't need the restrictor at our house and I'm glad that I didn't have to try to dig it out of the mixer valve. For my purposes, I really only needed the dual shower head assembly. But, the price on this kit was so good, I was happy to get it. The 6 way adjustable heads give me and my wife exactly what we need, from a gentle mist, to a full spray, to a full on deep penetrating massage. This is the most luxurious way to shower. Great purchase. Five stars. ... show more
