I don't need to use it to write a review it's Porter Cable of course it works good. I did turn it on to make sure the cord doesn't have a short but, yeah. Unless you're a teenager who never had a father or any role model at all, you really dont need any one to brag about Porter Cable or Makita. You already know they work the best. Actually I need to update this since I'm not sure if it's battery or corded... maybe I didn't plug it in. Oh well I'm it works. Just for laughs I should probably go do that before my 30 days is up ... show more

I've been a pro woodworker for 28 years and I've used a lot of Jigsaws. I prefer Bosch (The first company to produce them), However this year while visiting relatives on the other side of the country I needed a saw to do a project for them (Laying some floor in an entryway with lots of complicated cutouts around pipes and moldings and thresholds etc.) I looked on Amazon and found this. I haven't been too impressed with the direction Porter-Cable have gone in recent times but this tool has me reassessing that opinion. It's really good, especially for this price. Get some good blades and you should be well on your way. I can't speak for the longevity but it worked for me. I reluctantly left it behind on my return but will at least have a decent tool if I need it next time I visit. ... show more
