    • Very easy to set up and much nicer than other cheaper models.
After my truck was in and out of the body shop for 2 months and driving a couple newer rentals with Android auto I ordered this to pair with my stock radio in my 2016 Tacoma. I have previous installed a couple in dash android radios that work about the same way minus the built in dash cam. This unit is much nicer and more responsive than the other two I had installed in dash for and old Astro van. For my Tacoma work truck I was already using a dash cam and my stock radio works great. I looked into some of the options of in dash kits that were designed for my truck and they were pretty pricey. This system was very quick and easy to set up and I had it up and running in about 5 minutes. I did order the windshield mount B0CDC9CS6Y with my original order. On my Tacoma it works great and there is a little ledge on my dash directly above the radio that it rests in perfectly. A few things that led me to buying this over others were the great reviews as well as noticing that it will show the MPH on the dash cam. So after using it a few days I never could get a MPH display. So after messing with it for a few days I finally sent a message to the seller. BAM! I should have done it sooner lol.. within about 15 minutes I got a response. I had overlooked the fact that to make the speed work there is an add on GPS sensor that has to be ordered separately, part # B0CDC9CS6Y. I have ordered one and that should solve my issue.     • Video port not compatible with standard cameras
It mostly works fine. Rear camera is very dim which is ok because I planned to use it with another camera anyway. BUT the AV port is proprietary instead of the standard RCA port everyone else uses. So I need to find an adaptor somewhere. Other FAILs: 1. Confusing interface 2. No way to adjust brightness or sound between FM/car audio/internal while in operation. 3. Screen auto-brightness is terrible and night/day options. 4. Not compatible with some android apps (such as my branded car app Otherwise functions ok but i dont really need a front camera so it's just as easy to mount my cell phone for mapping and music ... show more

    • Great Dashcam Too
So far no major issues, periodically the connection drops but comes right back via Wifi. If you are connected to the unit, and are trying to playback a dashcam video, your phone notifications will always back out of the video playback which is annoying. The Road Cam app they suggest is questionable, seems like it's for hackers to access your photos more than anything. Tried inserting the micro sd into my laptop and it was unreadable. Needs a better way to access the camera footage. ... show more

Setup was pretty straightforward however the software is mediocre and the screen mirroring option is horrendous. It forces the audio through the device and if you decide to plug it in via aux, you will hear audio from both the device and your sound system. If you’re looking for a device that’s affordable and using it just for display, it’s phenomenal. Other than that I wouldn’t use the screen mirroring for CarPlay. ... show more

Works great and is just as advertised. My husband put it in his truck so the cord to the rearview camera was a little short but company quickly responded with how to get an extension. Highly recommend.

Well, I hooked it up to the stereo through aux now I No longer have a stero screen. It flickered when I started the car then went away. Now it’s as pictured. I got this so I didn’t have to upgrade my stereo. Thanks. It’s now $300 plus installation.

What doesn’t this thing do? It’s amazing and has every feature at a reasonable price! I’m so happy I bought this one over other ones because it doesn’t lag, has Apple car play, plays my Spotify playlist through my speakers, connects flawlessly, and the dashcam is sweet.     • Reversed backup camera.
The product is great and easy to install, the only issue I have is the back up camera is reversed. There is no setting to fix this issue. Severtour has no customer service to help. Just an email that they don’t respond to. If anyone knows a fix for this issue please let me know.
