As soon as I turned it on that was fine, than I started to get my ARC on, when it did do anything than to top it off it blows out my Circuit breakers. This model was bad very bad, don't know if the different types they have a really different cause most of them look the same. Not worth the money it a 90/10 shot 90% that it will not work!!!

I got this as an inexpensive way to weld my exhaust together. Being my first time welding, it was rather easy to use since its handheld and I didnt need to buy any gas or anything. Its a very simple to use welder that can bond the more basic aluminums together and def is perfect for trying to fab something together

Update: I was contacted by the seller after this review and they were able to send us a new one without charge. It came and has worked so far. I bought this for my husband’s birthday. I ordered in April and when it came time for his birthday the item didn’t work. Contacted customer service and they said they couldn’t do a refund or return. I was transferred multiple times and in the end was told by some guy that he wasn’t able to pull anything up on his end and hung up on me after being on the phone for 30 minutes with a previous “agent” waiting for her team lead i was then transferred to that man. I am very disappointed and upset I can not get a refund or even return this junk item for a replacement, and my husband is out of his birthday gift.
