The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this handheld welder since the day it arrived, and it really surprised me. It’s much lighter than it looks, so using this hand held welder gun is very comfortable. I tried it on 3–4 small projects and the welding machine performed perfectly each time. As a portable welder, it’s easy to carry and store, and the arc welder function works smoothly with no issues. The welder machine 110V setup is simple, and the box includes every accessory you need. For the price, it’s a great value.

This portable welding machine has become one of those tools I reach for way more than I thought I would. The size makes it convenient — you don’t have to haul out a big unit just to repair something small at home. For light to medium DIY work, it absolutely gets the job done. I also like that it comes with the goggles included, because that’s one less accessory to hunt for. The anti-stick feature really does help keep the rods from fusing awkwardly. It’s not made for heavy industrial jobs, but for home repairs and hobby work it’s excellent and very user-friendly.

The current control knob does not seem to work effectively. Does not change the flow of the welding stick. The welding electrode knob does not hold the stick properly and the stick constantly pulls out no matter how hard you tighten the knob. The face shield and goggle assembly guide is ambiguous and lacks detail. Don’t spend your money and time on this product.

This comes with everything you need to get started. Some of these kits I saw did not comes with a mask and googles, but this one did. The googles are interesting - they have no battery, instead they have a solar cell that is powered by the arc of the welding. This is pretty good because you never have to worry about charging it to changing the battery. It also comes with a replacement darker glass panel. I'll need to find out when I should use that one vs the default one. The kit seemed very complete to me. I can't evaluate the weld itself because I'm a complete beginner but everything seemed great to me. The carrying case is excellent, since it keeps everything together neatly.
