The media could not be loaded. Great little machine for home projects. Pros: Portable, light weight, can be operated on batteries, easy to set up less then 5 minutes, pedal for speed control, built in light (very helpful). Cons: have not find any yet. Comes with standard supplies. For the price it is very decent machine. Definitely recommending for home projects

I bought this Portable Tabletop Beginner Mini Sewing Machine mainly for small projects and quick clothing repairs, and overall I’ve been really happy with it. I’m not a professional sewer by any means, so I was looking for something simple, compact, and easy to use without taking up a ton of space, and this machine definitely checks those boxes. The size is one of the biggest pros. It’s lightweight and small enough to keep on a desk or tabletop, and I can easily store it away when I’m done. That makes it perfect for quick fixes like hemming pants, fixing seams, or doing small DIY craft projects. I also like that it doesn’t feel intimidating like some of the larger sewing machines can, which makes it great for beginners. Setup was pretty straightforward. It didn’t take long to get it threaded and ready to go, and once I started using it, the controls were simple enough to figure out. It runs fairly smoothly for a mini machine, and for basic stitching it does the job well. I’ve used it for small alterations and some simple craft projects and it handled those without any major issues. That said, there are a couple things to keep in mind. Since it’s a mini beginner machine, it’s not meant for heavy-duty fabrics or large projects. Thicker materials like multiple layers of denim can be a bit challenging for it. I also found that you have to take your time guiding the fabric so the stitches stay even. For someone who is just learning to sew or needs a machine for simple repairs and light crafts, this is a really practical option. It would also make a nice gift for a teen, beginner, or anyone wanting to try sewing without investing in a big expensive machine. I'm partially disabled, but needed a simple machine for mending and hemming. I liked that the machine came ready to use, with bobbins already full and any sewing notions that I needed. The light is not very strong, but my strongest issue is that there is both a foot control and a hand"off, low/hi" switch on the right hand side. Why are there both? It takes a lot of skill to guide the fabric under the machine foot with both hands as usual, and then to turn the machine off at a seam, leaving one hand to scramble to find the off button. Am I missing something here? Otherwise, so far, I like this machine, with one big exception.

This little machine is the perfect "no-stress" way to dive into sewing. It’s portable and gives you options—you can plug it into the wall or it also runs on batteries. It comes with everything you need to start stitching right away including - A seam ripper, scissors, and bobbins - An expansion table and plenty of thread. All you need is your own fabric. It’s not intimidating. It skips all the confusing buttons and advanced features of expensive models and sticks to the basics. It has plenty of kick for practicing stitches. So far, it’s handled everything from pin cushions to quilt squares like a champ. I intend to teach my niece how to sew and it's the perfect machine for it. The Bottom Line If you want to see if sewing is actually for you without dropping a ton of cash, get this. It’s a great little "test drive" tool to help you decide if you want to make this a serious hobby.

This is a great sewing machine for anyone who wants to learn to sew. It's very portable because it's so lightweight. It has a convenient little carrying handle. I love how simple it is to use, and I think the fact that it has limited stitch options is really great not to overwhelm anyone just starting out. I use this for making miniature plush and small doll clothes. It works great for that as long as I use something to stabilize my fabric so it doesn't get sucked into the machine with the tiny edges. This set comes with a lot of little accessories, including threads and pr-threaded bobbins in many nice colors. This is not as powerful as my more expensive sewing machine, but I love how small and easy this is to move around. I think it's a good value for anyone wanting to do small projects, mending, or just learning to sew.

I mean... It works. But barely. Definitely wouldn't want to try sewing a full dress or anything with this. But it works for simple repairs and minor alterations. It had some difficulty sewing over the side seam when finishing the bottom. Getting through all the layers was just too much for it. The foot pedal is not very responsive and essentially still only has two speeds. Fast and faster. No clutch for the bobbin winder means your needle is going crazy while winding. The buttonhole function is completely unusable. And there is a setting for center and to the left, but not to the right.
