My grand daughter who is now 10 loves it. It is a bit overwhelming for her but with someone who already has skills in sewing machines to show youngster how to use its a wonderful little machine. We loved that it was electric and took no batteries and pricing was good.

I haven't written many reviews, but I couldn't let this one go. I bought this machine just to do some basic sewing and crafting. It just arrived yesterday. I took it out of the beautifully wrapped box and immediately started sewing. It was very easy to operate. Usually sewing machines have a hard time threading or jamming ....... And this baby will not! I would recommend it a hundred times over. It's worth every penny.
