As a beginner i wanted a cheaper sewing machine to learn the basics, this does that fine and i haven't had any problems so far. Good for its value and easy to use. My only complaint is that the manual has several spelling mistakes and seems unprofessional, it made it hard to set up and follow, but YouTube is your friend!

Works great. My grand daughter has been sewing since I purchased. Machine doesn’t like thick fabric, but works well on cotton.

1. The machine comes threaded with test stitches on pieces of starched cotton fabric 2. There are actually 3 spools of thread and 3 bobbins because there is a set in the machine and then an extra white thread spool of thread and a white bobbin and a black spool of thread and black bobbin. There is a needle threader- two extra needles and a foot attachment to make button holes. [The cellophane package holding the accessories was open and I needed to untangle the thread but everything was there. 3. I am a very experienced sewist/seamstress with multiple sewing machines. So my evaluation is based on what the machine is supposed to do and then does it perform. I am not comparing it to a regular full size machine. 4. I reviewed the directions which are very detailed. If you have never used a sewing machine then take the time to go thru the directions and follow the instructions. The machine uses a drop in bobbin. 5. It sews exactly as listed with several straight stitches of varying length and several zig zag variations. It is “deliberate” – that is slow and careful and the stitches are well made. This is not meant to be a full size machine but it does the job. Yes I can do my sewing on the machine if I needed to. However, it would not handle all fabric and challenging fabric like slippery stretch knits would not be suggested. The included instruction manual indicates that these challenging fabrics are not suggested. If you are interested in cotton, woven fabric this will work. For those of you who have never sewed, even full size machines may not handle the fancy slippery knits. 6. So I am recommending the machine because it does exactly what it is supposed to do and in the way it describes. DO not expect this to be a substitute for an expensive full size machine. But is works and sews a balanced stitch.

Motor for the machine is worst than 1/12 scale RC toy car. Not worth the money nor recomme nd for anyone to purchase. I was hoping to fix a couple thin shirts, but the motor would stalled barely in first pass. Beside the deference thread sticking style, this is a piece of junk. It has good potential if the motor is bigger.
