  • Slick unit that works like it should
Initial review that will be updated after a few months of use. Unit connected to my phone and Cardo unit easily. No apparent delays in any of the screen selections. Handlebar controls have an easy to use quick button to see the rear camera on full screen or go to home screen or take a still photo. Powers just fine through the OEM USB port on my Ibex 800, although it doesn't show voltage on the handlebar accessory unit unless wired up to the battery. One can wire it up that way if they choose. Cameras are decent enough that I'll get rich if I ever see Bigfoot hanging out with Elvis while changing the tire on an alien spaceship on the side of the road. Follow the tips in the videos in the main description for scrolling down to select 1080N, not 1080P to get the proper imaging. Can select "mirror" image for rear view. Easy to view your video footage on the screen instead of waiting to put your SD card in a laptop later or through your phone. I had to add a couple of my own small washers to the front camera bracket to make it snug, but the same bracket for the identical rear camera was fine. Main screen bracket tightened securely and has multiple rubbery spacers for different diameter bars, such as handlebars and GPS 22mm bars. So far it performed flawlessly for my first 3 hour ride. The screen even worked with my gloves that aren't touchscreen designed, which was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully it'll last for a few years. ... show more

  • Great product for the price.
Product is great and delivers what is promised. My one was installed by a mechanic and worked pretty well. I had an issue with the power supply of the unit and got a very fast and quality support, with a free replacement shipped to my location.

  • Great functionality / Mediocre Camera
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: So after taking this on a few rides and reviewing the footage so actual updates. On a motorcycle depending on where you have the cameras mounted there is a lot of vibration that leads to rolling shutter wobble. Again, this is Dashcam quality not action cam quality so some of this is to be expected. I did notice that the image is only really truly clear and sharp when objects are really close to the camera and still. Where the camera falls ais at night. The footage is almost useless the headlights of the cars band even the street lights are just too bright and the camera doesn't respond well. It's just flare and noisy footage. This doesn't change my rating. I would give it 3.5 stars leaning toward 4. As far as i was concerned I bought this kit for the Andoid Auto / Carplay feature but it's important to know if you're looking for a camera option. This Android Auto / Apple Carplay + Dashcam combo is great at what it's supposed to do. Mounted to a sport bike gets a little creative with bolt-ons as the screen is large and can rub the windscreen or hide ignition etc. etc. But being a little creative with the orientation you can make it work depending on the motorcycle. Installation: Fairly straight forward if you have any experience adding accessories to motorcycles. Know where your post ignition power lines are to splice the yellow lead into and it's good to go once the key is turned. The red goes to the hot and the black goes to the ground/neg. The remote/battery monitor is always on if the red line is attached directly to the POS terminal of the battery so keep in mind that there will be some draw because of that. Alternately just send it to the same lead as the yellow (acc) and it will only come on with the ignition. There is A LOT of wire for both the cameras and the head unit so length isn't an issue, finding a nice place to tuck it all away can be fun though. On a sport bike, like I mentioned earlier you might have to get creative with the positioning as it only includes a handle bar mount. I also mounted it in my triple tree column phone mount. Camera placement: The cameras only adjust on the Y axis (relative to the mount) so point straight ahead and pivot slightly up or slightly down. When the bracket is loose the cameras rotate freely so if your angle is slightly off you can just rotate it into alignment. The mounts themselves are pretty basic but this is where the setup loses a star. The glue that holds the mount to the foam is trash. It sticks to the mount well enough but it separates from the foam leaving the camera dangling. The foam adheres to the plastic fairings fine but the camera pulls away. There are some tiny screws included but I'm not putting holes in my plastic to mount the camera. Some higher quality sticky 3M tape or something will provide a better solution. The Camera: Decent quality both front and rear, at least in the day time, I haven't taken it out at night yet but I will update. Tracking is smooth and pretty fluid for a dash cam and doesn't seem to jitter too much because of the speed/wind/ just being on a motorcycle. It isn't the best image quality out there but it's more than serviceable. The Screen: The controls are smooth and easy to learn. The touch screen is very responsive and the image quality on both cameras is pretty good. The playback interface is a little clumsy, with lots of scrolling to find certain clips (one minute clip length by default, not sure if it can be changed) especially when trying to review footage and it defaults to the full screen after just a few seconds. The Remote: Again the controls are easy to manage and it attaches pretty smoothly with the appropriate spacers. The Battery monitor is always on if installed as pictured. ... show more

  • Excellent product but horrible customer service
The product is awesome but the customer service is lacking. There was a wire that was extra and the company gave a very vague explanation and not useful at all. Horrible company to deal with. Do not buy from this company. Update: The company sent me another unit. But not the exact same one I got from them. I received an email from them trying to change my mind about my review. I will not change it. If the seller sends me the same exact product then I will change my review. I still don't recommend them. ... show more

  • Works good. Kills my battery
Works great, responsive, apple car play, good quality camera. Down side is it kills my battery with the parasitic drain on the battery. Disconnected it directly and battery holds charge. Yes I connected it correctly.

  • Quality system
I didn’t install as I needed to have other bike work done anyhow. The installer commented on the quality system. On the camera’s maiden voyage I recorded an accident (not mine) which could be used as proof of occurred. Cameras have great clarity and you can run with a split screen. A swipe of your hand, even with gloves on, and you can switch to front or rear cameras. Take control of your music while riding, again with the touchscreen. The seller answered all my questions promptly and fully. Will be ordering another system for the wife’s bike. ... show more

  • Great for bikes
I have this installed on my trike. I don’t even need rear view mirrors! And can see much better at night . The CarPlay functions are fantastic!
