The media could not be loaded. The first thing you will notice is the spectacular RGB lighting system, but that just sets to stage for this experience. The Ortizan M12 feels like an upgrade from most Bluetooth speakers on the market. The controls are clearly labeled and backlit, making this one of the easiest speakers to use. Ortizan calls this a 2.1 speaker system, meaning there is a 30W subwoofer and dual stereo 15W tweeters flanking each side, plus dual passive radiators. The result is a 60W system you can run at maximum volume without distortion. However, if your music has a ton of bass you can force this speaker into distortion by using the bass boost at max volume. But you won't need it. This speaker was designed around that 30W subwoofer and it has a ton of bass without the bass boost. There is a rear access panel that hides a USB-C charging port, u-drive slot, TF card slot, and a 3.5mm auxiliary input port. The TF card and u-drive support MP3, WMA, and WAV and has near-instantaneous indexing. I also verified this speaker is IPX7 waterproof by submerging it in water for 30 minutes and it worked flawlessly afterward. This is an outstanding value and I highly recommend it. ... show more

What a fantastic Bluetooth speaker! This speaker is the loudest single portable speaker I have. It displays hypnotizing rainbow lights that flow with the beat of songs. The speaker’s design resembles the shape of those old-school “boom boxes” or “jam boxes.” The speaker includes instructions, a USB Type C charging cable, an auxiliary audio cable, and a shoulder strap (listed as a shoulder girdle). It is 13 ½ inches long, so it’s not small by far. Pairing the speaker to my phone seemed simple enough, but two different pairings came up for M12, and I didn’t see a reason for it in the instructions. However, I learned that if I wanted to answer my calls through the speaker, I needed to give the speaker permission by checking the box from the connection menu on my phone. I declined this option because I want to play my music without answering private calls on my jam box speaker around others. The description says the speaker is waterproof, but I do not intend to test that. I maxed out the volume on my phone to test the sound. I played Massive Attack’s Butterfly Caught and Small Time Shot Away because those songs carry deep trip-hop bass sounds that I can judge based on what I know I should hear. This Ortizan speaker does not disappoint me at all! I am not an audio professional, but I love music and have owned many stereos and speakers in my lifetime. Therefore, I have developed several techniques to evaluate sound quality. The best part is pairing this speaker with another one like it for the ultimate surround sound. The speaker has a button that allows a simple connection. Also, this speaker is affordable! It makes a wonderful, inexpensive gift for a birthday or for a family gathering or neighborhood party.
