I have had a small cooler similar to this before that was just noisy and not all that great because it was too small. I came across this cooler and after getting it, I have to tell you I am really quite impressed. The kit comes with ice bottles that you can refreeze, a large tank, a remote control and caster wheels for portability. As for the functionality, this cooler packs in all the features. It can be used with or without the humidifying feature that uses water to cool the air down, has a side to side oscilating feature and several speeds. I will tell you, even at the lowest speed, this thing moves plenty of air and is impressively quiet. And at the highest of three speeds, it recycles the air in a room quickly and efficiently. The unit has a remote with a timer feature for up to 7 hours of continuous run time. I did not have the budget or capacity for an expensive to run portable AC and this is more than a happy medium between running an AC and having a floor fan. I work from my apartment, and it gets really stuffy in the summer. I needed something to help me concentrate, and this looked like it could do the trick. It's small enough to sit on my room without taking up too much space, which is great because my work area isn't huge. And it does make a difference. It's not like walking into an icebox, but it definitely takes the edge off the heat, and it's not just an AC; it also adds some moisture to the air. My skin tends to get really dry when the AC is on full blast, so that's a big plus. I can move this around depending on where I'm working, which is super handy. I sometimes like to sketch on the couch. It's also quiet, which is important because I need to focus when I'm designing. I wish it had a longer cord, though. The strong airflow provided a nice and cool environment that gave me comfortability where I’m able to sleep and relax. The air conditioner has controls both on the unit itself and also via a remote control to adjust many settings. The device uses water and a frozen bottle to help dissipate hot air while putting out a fine mist of cool and refreshing air. The water tank is easy to refill without leaking or spilling and there’s an indicator in the front to let me know the water cooling level. I had to visit my parents and Its so hot where they live and my husband always complains so i decided to try this. i was so surprised with the result! it kept the room cool all.night and not humid at all even though it is humid there. The first night didnt get as cold but the next day i realized my husband only put water in it so I tried ice and water and we got cold and chilly night! it's a very convenient size. it sits on a small bedside table just perfectly.
