I got this portable air cooler as a gift for my friend because his room turns into an oven in the summer. He did not want to deal with a big window AC so I figured this would be easier. It has a water tank a few fan speeds and it moves side to side which helps cool things off a bit. He said it works pretty well for a small space. It is not going to turn the place into a freezer or anything but it definitely feels cooler with the water going. The fan is strong and he liked that it does not take up much room. Plus it has a timer so it shuts off on its own if he falls asleep. Couple of little downsides. You do have to refill the water every so often especially on hot days. And it makes a little hum when it is running not super loud but not silent either. He did not care much said it is better than sweating through his T shirt. Overall it was a pretty good gift. Easy to use does not need a window and keeps his room chill enough to actually relax. For the price it is a nice little upgrade from just using a regular fan. ... show more

Nice cooler, for a small room, it pushes quite an amount of air , you can add water and the ice packs to make it cooler , but with only the water you can already drop some degrees, Water evaporates so you will be filling this up every 2-3 days, depending on the temperature, it has a remote control and touch buttons on top, you have to adjust manually the horizontal vents, but the back ones can swing, also has a timer for auto shutoff. ... show more

Cost effective portable AC. It requires little to no installation and runs very quietly. I love that I don’t have to put it in a window and I can move it from room to room. Functionality is great as it also operates as a fan. The air is very cold and it takes no time to cool the room.

This is nothing more than an overpriced fan, it has absolutely no cooling effect at all. I am baffled by these positive review that convinced me to try this item, it provides less breeze than the $20 fan i have and doesn't drop the temp of a small room by even 1 degree. WORTHLESS !!!!

Small things really do come in big packages! I was surprised about the airflow. This little thing can push out! It far exceeds my standalone fan. It has a large capacity water tank and it includes three ice packs so that you can get the cooling effect. I would totally buy this again. It’s nice but doesn’t work as I expected for the price of 99.00 . I could have gotten one cheaper and put out the same amount of cool breeze. Area to put water in is very small . Which makes you have to put water like every 30mins. I thought from description that it will have gallon water tank for water.
