I like this at first. It cooled me down enough to sleep in an 85 degree room. After about 24 hrs it began malfunctioning. It started beeping randomly and cycling through the light options on its own. Sometimes none of the buttons would work. On several occasions the fan would turn on by itself while I was carrying it from one location to another. When I set it down all buttons would work EXCEPT the fan button, so I couldn’t even turn it off. I had to leave it on unplugged until the battery died. I do not recommend this item

Bought it because it was a featured deal and the reviews were in the 4-star range. Advice to future me: only read reviews from people with a “verified purchase” flag. Worked intermittently for about 24 hours. Front panel buttons never worked consistently, an issue you’ll see in other reviews. Device wouldn’t power on if it was connected to external power. I had to power on, then plug in if I didn’t want to run off the battery. After about 8 total hours of operation, the fan motor has stopped working. Boxing it up now.

The AC in my apartment went out, so I bought this hoping it could keep my me cool enough until maintenance could come fix it. It had next day overnight shipping and was only $50 so I bought it thinking it probably won’t work the best/cool off my entire apartment since it’s so cheap and small, but at least hopefully it would keep me cool enough personally until my AC can get fixed. WRONG. Every time I tried to turn it on, it kept flashing and beeping and none of the buttons worked. I tried a few times to unplug and plug back it and even let it sit for a while before turning it back on but nothing worked. Whether you're looking for something just to keep you extra cool around the house, or you need it an emergency like I did, honestly just save your money and put it towards a nicer one to make sure it actually works (nothing worse than sitting in an 80 degree apartment and realizing your one shred of cooling hope it lost lol).

Had a replacement because the 1st one wouldn't charge. The fan is very strong cool wind. The only thing I don't like at all is the fact that it literally takes a whole day to charge but the battery runs out too quick. Even when you're not using it the battery also drain. After a day or of charging it full even though you see it says 100% it doesn't. Turned it only and it'll only lasts few min. Then you start to charge it again it takes me another day. Very very disappointing. I would've have returned the 2nd one too if I hadn't throw away the box
