We have a large room without windows to be able to use a traditional or portable window unit, so we thought we would try this when our central air kicked the bucket. It cools a little, but not as much as I was hoping. The ice packs don’t stay frozen for as long as I’d expected either. In the situation we were in, it helped keep us a little cooler than we had been, but overall, not super impressed. Also, it’s nice that it’s on wheels, but you’re plugged into the outlet in the wall, so kind of pointless since it has to stay stationary anyway ... show more

Super quiet! I can hear my big swamp cooler in the living room over this one right in front of me. Quick cooling, now it's no AC it's an evap cooler so will only drop room temp by 10⁰ or so, but it's not even 10 am in the California desert and its 83⁰ already and sitting within 5 ft of this I am comfortable. I wouldn't recommend for humid climates though. I know when it hits 100⁰ I'll have to bust out the AC, but it's working pretty darn good so far. ... show more

Kirkland gets hot sooner this year, it definitely saved me. It comes with remote control and timer, it can also swing. I love it that it comes with 3 ice containers that I can rotate and use it.
