I picked up this AC unit to solve a problem... We have one room that gets hotter than the rest of the house and this is a perfect addition to solve it. It takes a little time to fill it up as you have to wait for the top tank to drain into the lower but it's only a few minutes and super easy. Beyond that, it's small, easy to move around and about the same volume as a stand up fan. Using the included ice crystal bottles is also easy. Fill them up with water, leave them on the counter for a couple of hours then freeze overnight. The unit will cycle the warmer water from the bottom over the ice packs and back into the bottom tank again. The cooler the water the cooler the air. The remote buttons are large and rubber coated so they are easy for all ages to use. The top buttons are a little more sensitive as they require a more precise press to use them. Overall I am really enjoying the unit since I can move it from my hot guest room to my garage gym. No venting is required like with traditional AC units. This is because this unit is an evaporative style unit so it's only using fans, ice and water to cool the air - not freon and a compressor. Lastly this unit requires less energy than a window unit so it is more cost effective to run as well as its a great alternative for cool air during power outages - we live in East Texas so tornado season is a real thing...

This cooler definitely gets the job done! It’s lightweight, easy to move around, and puts out a surprising amount of cool air. It’s been perfect for keeping our living room comfortable without cranking up the AC. My dog literally parks himself right in front of it like it's his own personal spa. 😎 I also use it in our home gym during hot summer days. It has a remote control to choose in between settings, the design is compact and small (but mighty), where it fits anywhere w/o taking up too much space. Doesnt make any noise. This is a nice little air unit that can be rolled around the house! Every summer, our air unit seems to go out for a bit. It gets so hot inside until the repairman comes! I got this to help cool down our main room when this happens! However, this will be great to help keep the living room cool all summer long! It's easy to put together, the instruction manual is easy to follow for set up, it's easy to move around the house, and the remote control option makes it easy to use from wherever you are in the room! This is a great little air conditioner unit!
