Because the instructions say it has to six upright for a few hours we decided to test it in the living room using the sliding door (hence the video). But we did test the window kit. This A/C Unit is a godsend. We were surprised by how big it was, but it came just in time for the heatwave this weekend so I was able to get my car work done in my garage without melting. It's perfect for a good medium size room. We easily moved it to our bedroom and we had a great sleep. It automatically turned off while we slept so that was very convenient for us so it wouldn't be too cold when we woke up. This has been a great addition to our house. Took about 10 minutes to set up as we had to adjust to fit our window, but it comes with everything needed to intsall. It is heavy, but very easy to move around with the castor wheels. It circulates the air by using the swing button and cooled off our room very quickly. It is not very loud and gets even quieter using the sleep mode. It hasn’t been very hot here yet, but looking forward to using it this summer. ... show more

The lowest temperature it will go is 61 degrees which still is pretty cold on a hot day! I love the look of it, very sleek and modern looking without standing out. There is also an option to have the vents move automatically in order to move the air around better.
