This was exactly what I needed. Blows ice cold air and while it's not whisper quiet, it is not as loud as some reviews have made it seem. It is still spring here so I have only used it a few times. Each time it works perfectly. I love how portable it is for its size. Rolls pretty easy once you figure out not to push from the top edge but a little further down (carpet...).My only complaint is the size of the condensate bucket. I wish it was a little bigger. I'll just put a pump in there with a level sensing float and be done with it. Good buy. If I actually needed another I would buy another one of these.

I have always used a window unit in my bedroom but after extensive heart surgery I can unfortunately no longer lift one into the window. I looked at many alternatives and settled on this unit based on price portability and positive reviews. And they weren't wrong this thing is amazing. It's better than any window unit I've ever used! It cools my room cooler and although it does make some noise it is quieter than a window unit. It's way easier to set up and it's on wheels so it moves around my house effortlessly! After seeing how will this functions I wish I would have switched years ago.

Jury still out on this AC. Have had for 3 days now. Live in Houston and have huge electric bill so trying to cut it down by using this portable AC in our 600 sf bedroom instead of running the household AC to cool the entire house at night. It's pretty noisy but we like 'white noise' at night. It's really big and heavy, the hose is huge. It's nothing to look at, but at least it's in the bedroom where most won't see it. The first night - it expelled a ton of water. Second night, we made adjustments and now no water. So there is a huge window hose to let the hot air out into the outdoors, and then there's a clear skinny hose to drain water out of it. Today, it had condensation all over the exterior of the AC, not sure why. Cools our bedroom down to 65 and it's chilly for sure!!!! So the AC works - it's just big, bulky, noisy, and expels water. Would recommend. Hoping to cut our electric bill by $100 a month with this unit.

Air conditioner worked perfectly! Are upstairs bedroom is always hot but after hooking this up, it has been a night and day difference. System is easy to use, pretty quiet and the vent attachment for the window works perfectly. This has been a game changer and has helped us get a great night sleep.
