This AC was quick and easy to set up, and the wheels make it very easy to maneuver around. The AC itself is not too bulky and fits nicely st the foot of my bed. The ventilation tube was very long compared to other portable AC units I've used in the past. After turning this on it cooled my room faily quick, in the description it says it can cool up to 500sqft, my room is 300sqft so this works perfect for me. This product comes with some adhesive foam to put in the window to help prevent air from coming in, I haven't had to deal with that with other units that I have used. I was able to get the adhesive foam around the window frame, however it is very sticky and fragile and a lot broke off on to my fingers so be careful with that. The window cover extender is held together with a wing nut that has a base that holds the two panels together. I like that design because it holds it in place very well and I don't have to worry about a little screw stipping, so I can see this lasting a long time. The plastic remote is high quality, it has a nice slim design and feels very sturdy, unlike the lightweight plastic ones I'm used to. The unit is not very loud and I had no trouble falling asleep with it running. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and I know future me is thankful to be a lot cooler this summer.

Had to get a portable a/c due to having windows that open horizontally- really impressed with this unit. Noise level is about as much as a standard floor fan. Does a really solid job at reducing humidity, it was about 82 outside and inside got down to about 77 and it felt like 70. Only flaw I’d say is if you are using this for a larger window, buy some additional adhesive strip. It unfortunately doesn’t come with much!

We have a standard window and it can’t open enough to fit the circular tube. How else would we use this if we don’t cut the plastic? Updated a few days later: we used a saw and cut the plastic to key it fit better in the window. It doesn’t seat perfectly even with the foam pieces but it does the job. It does cool off the room nicely. The turbo and heating options are listed as ineffective in the manual-which is weird but I got it for cooling and it does that well so far, one day of use.

Small but mighty! We moved to a huge old farmhouse without AC 3 years ago and had so far 1 similar unit that is twice the size and puts out about the same amount of cooling. I wanted to add a second unit to help cool more of the house and after looking at many reviews and options I chose this one. I love that it has a dehumidifier option because that alone will help in the muggy summer weather. The remote has a cool locking feature to keep little hands from messing up the current settings. Turbo option cools it off super quick! It has a timer so you can set it up to turn on a little while before getting home so you can save energy and not have it run all day.

1st this is like a mini industrial unit/its big but not too big, setup was easy, window plates actually fit my huge bedroom window, and so far cool(have a small fan facing towards hallway and unit is pushing cold air to living room in apartment). Main noise from unit will be noticeable on cool mode/compressor running sooo suggest find a good location to run unit and its similar to a hotel window ac sound. This is worth it since our main AC died, its hot now, and the wait for repair might take a while. Suggest for price, keep one of these units for back up.

This is a good quality air conditioner. It also works as a dehumidifier when running. That means the water needs to be set up to drain automatically hooking up the included hose or by draining manually. This works great to cool a large room that upstairs where it's hotter than downstairs. The louvers on the outside can be manually directed straight or pointing upwards. The inner louvers swing automatically left to right. That moves the air better to cover more of the room. The wheels make it easy to move. It came with the window kit, and it was super easy to install. I really like how secure it is on each end, so when I move the air conditioner the ends don't pop off. Runs fairly quiet and looks good.

This portable AC is perfect! The cooling power is impressive for its size — it cools down my study room (about 300 sq ft) in under 10 minutes. I love how easy it was to set up; the instructions were clear, and the window kit fit perfectly.
