Our central air broke down so we decided to purchase in the mean time. The cooling distance seems to be less than stated. I have considered the cluster factor but I do feel it should cool a bigger area. It does work effectively at night. I do recommend using fans to circulate the cool air. The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this A/C unit! I borrowed one last summer for our block party and everyone talked about how nice it was to have it at my party and how great it would be just to own one. This arrived in a perfect sized box with sturdy foam on the top and bottom of the unit. It comes with a hose for direct blowing. The adjustable vents, temp, air speed, and timer allows for me to fall asleep and not worry about leaving it on all night. This is perfect on my side of the bed as I am a warm sleeper but this will also work for our block party and camping. This blows very cold air! I love that this also comes with a remote control! This unit has a 3 prong plug which is pretty universal. The cost is very comparable to other units I researched. It is compact enough that it won’t take up much space, which is ideal and important for me. This is a product I am so excited to use in these Texas heatwaves. I’m already using it now but can’t use it on the coldest setting yet as it is winter. So glad I got this! ... show more

This A/C unit is great. Set up was pretty intuitive and I didn't really need the instructions. I did read the instructions anyway and they were clear and devoid of jargon and unnecessary information. Does this unit have all the bells and whistles of many other units, no, but I bought it for its simplicity (I just turn it on and forget it). Nice and cool easy to install however I deducted a star for how noisy it is. My cat is too scared of it to eat it doesn’t bother me cause I just turn up the tv lol

I bought this for my bedroom so I could sleep at night. After a short period of time it became so rattly during the AC phase that it was keeping me awake.
