I ordered this because I thought it was an actual portable air conditioner like the title says!!! I did not want an air cooler that uses ice packs! We're having extreme heat warnings in my area, and I have rescue dogs that I have to keep in separate rooms. Unfortunately, there's no air conditioner in the room where my senior recue dog is. So I bought this because that room it's so hot and I don't want my senior dog passing from heat stroke. I got this and was disappointed to see that it was NOT what was described, but as its almost 100⁰F today i was desperate to try anything. So I set it up according to the directions, and at first, it seemed to be blowing air that was slightly cooler than the air in the room. I closed the door and left to finish working. In half an hour, I went back to the room to check and see if it made the room any cooler, and as soon as I opened up the door I almost passed out myself from the heat and humidity coming from that room. This "air conditioner " actually made the room 300X WORSE with extreme humidity! The "COOLING" feature turned off on its ownand was blowing humid air that was the same temp as the sir in the room!! My poor senior dog was laying on the floor barely moving with his tongue hanging out of his mouth!!!

Cooling setting turns off by itself. It makes room SUPER humid it’s ridiculous. It made my room 10x more hot that it already was. I could barely breathe when I woke up because of it. Do not waste money on this product. I’m super disappointed in this. Do NOT buy.

It’s okay. Not recommended for places with high heat like a game room. Refilling with ice is annoying. But fan works great. Oh and if you want to amplify a weak air conditioner put this in front of it.

This unit does NOT cool even the smallest room. My kids said it was the exact same temperature in their room but actually worse because this machine added humidity to the air! Ugh, bummed I paid $150 for something that didn’t do the job. Wish I could get my money back.

We bought two of these, and they only worked if you sat right in front of it. They did not cool our small bedrooms. Not even a little. We returned both of them. We kept the frozen ice packs in them and did them exactly as instructed, but they did nothing to help cool our rooms.
