I tried this for a while but it didn't work much better than a slow fan. I kept it too long to be able to return it so I was putting it in the goodwill box I noticed the manual is actually for an air cooter. Maybe it coots the air great but it's not great for cooling it.

    • Works surprisingly well for a desktop fan!
I bought this for my desk which gets direct afternoon sun and turns my office into a sauna in a heartbeat. The fan does work and cools my immediate desk area. It’s not a sturdy/strong fan, but again it does the trick and can plug into my usb drive to work.

The fit and finish on this unit is not good. The pieces break very easily and the tray does not slide out smoothly. Would not buy this item again!

So I should probably have tried this gadget out when I first received it in March to see if it was functioning but I assumed that since this is an Amazon sale, it should be completely functional. However, today in 89F weather in Seattle, I discovered that it just doesn’t work. Won’t even turn on for a few seconds. And of course, I’ve passed the window to return it. Moral of the story: check any gadget purchased from Amazon and vendors as soon as you receive it; and it’s probably better to just buy the said object from a brick and mortar establishment than online. ... show more
